    here in the question @17:26 value of d is -120,could you please confirm.

      (a-d)*a*(a-d)= -(-120) i.e., -d/a

      Value of d is certainly -120.
      But Product of roots will be -(d/a).
      So product of roots is 120.

      At 14.49 it shoould be -18 how its 18.....and how +120

      @@sapeduworld So as per formula, the sum of roots is -b/a.
      But in this sum the value of b is -18. i.e. the coefficient of x^2 is -18 which is the value of b.
      That's why it is +18.
      Hope u got the point :)
      And similar is the case for +120 as well.

      no, m is c i.e. sum of roots taken 2 at a time.(coefficient of x)

    sir why we letting roots of equation is a-b , a , a+d only क्या हम कोई और नंबर नहीं ले सकते जब हमें पता है रूट ए पी में होंगे तो केवल यही क्यों लिया इसके पीछे का लॉजिक आप बताइए

      Kyunki sum karne pe 3a ho jaata hai. It becomes variable free.

      @@pandikumar5257 when we sum it up we will get 3a+3d which will be difficult to find 3 variable therefore to remove d(variable) we take a-d,d,a+d
