    This video is Quad. eqn video 4....there is no cubic eqn 3 video...so finish the quad. eqn till video 3 and then come back to this video...

    K belongs to [-1/11,1] -{0} and therefore it has only one integral value.

      @@siddharthchoudhury4158 if K=0 then the equation will no longer a quadratic equation as it becomes linear equation, that's why K can't be equal to zero.

    First question: k should be less than 1 and should be LESS than -1/11. This means k should be greater than 1/11(which sign changes, inequality changes). Which implies k is less than 1, and k Is greater than 1/11. Which means there is only one integral solution, ie 1.

      range is provided k is equal or greater than -1/11 and less than equal to 1 soin qns integral soln asked so k can be equal to 1 and 0 only 2 solutions.

    sir I think that number of integral values of k will be 1 because we will not consider k=0 as the quadratic equation will then become a linear equation

      Quadratic equation is of the form ax^2+bx+c=0 here b=-(alpha-2) c=-(alpha+1)

      b = -(alpha - 2)
      So, - b/a = -(-(alpha-2))/1 = alpha - 2

      calm down man, there used to be guy like this called sumeet Malik in DSA learning community and when he came onboard with scaler , he deleted all his content
