@@recession81 not being gnarly doesn't mean it's boring. Sure he's not grinding 100ft long rails, but he's doing some pretty difficult stuff and making it look cleaner than cleanrooms!
It's the kind of stuff you start appreciating once you get better, I didn't like his parts much a couple of years ago either.

Growing older, Suciu is one skater who always makes me feel like when I first picked up the board as a kid , excitement to just want to go skate without thinking of all the life stresses and struggles as an adult now. Thank you for what you do in skateboarding Mark. One of the greatest to do it.

Goddamn that line at the Courthouse into Blubba was so heavy. It takes massive balls to throw yourself down the courthouse, into that drop and go straight for the Hubba in a line. Crazy how nobody's really even tried it before and for good reasons but Jesus christ man, unreal.
He's trying to close both spots, claiming a whole city block. I want to see someone try to top it.
I didn't even know they were that close. I gasped when I saw the hubba in that run.
One of the best lines ever.

@@serge76 Kyle Walker definitely had a sick part, but I think overall Mark's been putting in much more work. This guy has released part after part that were all sick. Kyle goes bigger, but I still think Mark deserves it over him

@@disscussingstars sad part is that his so called peers and sponsors have seen pros go this route many times. They promote it as the lifestyle appeals to jits and creates a social media following. Looking at the history of suicides, drugs etc...team managers should do more than just promote carcass tossing.

Got into skating in 89, I'm almost 40 years old now, and skating still blows my mind. Watching Suciu and Shane O'Neil skate is watching a master artist at their craft. Just incredible to see what these guys can do now
This guy is one of my favorites out right now. He's technical as fuck, but he does just ballsy shit. And always puts some insane, unpredictable twist at the end of each line. Happy to hear he won SOTY. I thought he should've had it a couple years ago too.

I agree. The other two parts basically seem like teasers leading up to this one. I also like how it pairs up with Versa… versa had some harder tricks and he was hungrier then, but this part is so great in it’s own way. He is so confident . Versa was so hyped and he put so much time into it, and in this one it just came out of nowhere but he still slaughtered. I like how both parts shared alot of NY spots. No courthouse in Versa I just realized though

Nollie full cab, cross the street on walk with a flip trick in the middle to noseblunt the round ass ledge. That was unreal. Also what a way for him to link those spots after having put so many tricks on the individual features over the course of his many past parts.

another great video part.. matched well with the track too (often a miss). not all his tricks are knockout, but because he reaches further out than most with his nuanced approach, he produces some of the most beautiful tricks ive seen. thats art forreal. WE NEED MARK
Too many parts are using crappy rap nowadays. I don't mind a rap song for a part, but I don't really like the new songs that have been being used lately. gotta use a rap song that came out before 2010 lol

SOTY! other people might be going slightly bigger but no one makes me want to go skate more than mark! the creativity, the showing us theres more to the spot that we normally see, had no idea those two-spots were that close you could fit them in a line.
Man everybody always speaks on skaters seeing the world differently, i.e. ledges, stairs etc...Suciu brings that to a next level where he's seeing "spots" 99% of us wouldn't even see

Milton and Mark are two completely different skaters. Both are on their own level. What the decision will come down to in my opinion is which skater has been putting in the most work this year. Mark Suciu has been pumping out a shit ton of quality content recently and 100% deserves SOTY in my opinion.
I've never seen anything like this that has actually been pulled off this smoothly. Absolutely mental.
He succeeds in the most important think in skating. He makes it look cool. Love the old school feel to his skating.
