I got it twice in a row on my 4th run and my 5th run, I was shocked lmao
Alot of people seem to be getting it multiple times I don't get it, it's dumb.
This game likes to troll you. When Vow was featured I did like 80 Rhulk runs. On my 101st clear I got it. The run immediately after, I got it again.
I got it my 9th and 10th, my friends wanted to murder me 😂
Got it my second and third run, safe to say my clan was pretty upset 😅
Getting the catalyst with friends is actually so much fun.
I mean I did it with A friend, the run went swimmingly until we reached the maze, where I got lost, and we spent 30 minutes on the weiner wall, I just don't understand how people can't understand the rams timing and the jumps...eventually we got it done though, the basketball court is definitely a fun end to the catalyst run.
A couple days ago i logged onto my xbox 1 after 4 years to play some games i had on live. After i purchased gold to play online, an old friend invited me to a party that i thought was gone and turns out they are still gaming with a friend group. After we caught up we loaded up d2, did a kings fall and i got Touch of Malice. Theres a lot more to this story that makes this moment much more special to me but tldr it revived my personality that ive kept bottled up since 4 years ago.

How many attempts?
It took me 68/69 attempts, because of memory issues I don't remember if I did 1 or 2 since getting it

Took me 50+ for vex
@@rylandparker1148 took 21 attempts and I ran it only on warlock plus three times for Hunter
for the ToM cat in the basketball court you don't have to slam together. It's just dunking so many eventually fills the totems and it gives it to you. You can see the progress on the totems on the wall with the dunk.

This happened to me with vex, got it in one run. The next week (the next time I did vog) when we did the catalyst I got it to drop again.

I've already gotten ToM 3 times. The first was first try then back to back the next week then 2 weeks later
I got friend who got Vex back to back VoG clears. Was insane, my other friend with 30+ clears at that time was angery

But I was humbled to hear someone from an Xbox LFG I was in had over 100 runs without getting it.
