Ever watch old or current documentaries of hunter gatherers of Africa or South America? Or even really poor kids here a hundred years ago? One Olympic athlete ran or runs barefoot like he did in Africa. There should be video. I have a lousy memory so I don’t know if he is a more recent athlete or one from decades ago. There are still plenty of people who live as farmers or fishers in Southeast Asia who rarely wear hard soled shoes.
