- What is an Infinitive?
Infinitive is a Non-Finite Verb.
But It is not the main verb in the sentence.
It doesn't change as per tense of the sentence, singular or plural subject or the type of person in the sentence.
How it is created?
It is created by adding 'to' to the base form of the verb.
Lets undertstand the use of infinitives.
They are used as a noun, adjective or adverb in the sentence.
Bare Infinitives.
When an infinitive is used without the marker to it is called a bare infinitive

Sir, Your Educative Video is very nice and useful. It would be better if you added something more about bare infinitive. Only bare infinitives are used with do, does and did, modal verbs, some causative verbs and some other some verbs like bid, watch, see and hear.

Sir i am. Preparing for cdse 2 2018 exam i did not get the difference between infinitive and verb "cry" is a verb but its bare infinitive also its maybe silly but ni smjh aya please tell us what is infinitive and why they are used
in that sentence: Made was the main verb so Cry was used to describe the baby !
