I keep coming back to this video. There is something downright mystical about this performance. Thank you so much for capturing this, you can feel the intensity and electricity crackling through the screen.
...ok I need to play the part of the polemicist... When I pay 40, 50 Euros or Dollars in order to see a show, I'd like to see musicians, actors, being professional... I do not judge professional, improvise "acting", as a singer, when your voice is cracked... be a professional singer - and being a rockstar do not leave yourself out - means take care of your instrument. So that, you take care of your supporters... clear and honest.
As I already said, to my compatriot from Italy, it's maybe since 2012 maybe, that Thom seems not to care about his vocal performaces... He can't hit the much part of his highest range, and sometimes he makes really bad performances... As a fun, I can't be happy about that... Yes, the voice gets old, but if you know your instrument, you can sing almost the same till the end of your career. There are tons of examples, from Sting, to Jon Anderson, Bruce Dickinson, Bono Vox, etc. etc. etc. That means to be professional. Whilst doing falsetto (a really bad one indeed), when you can't hit your highest notes anymore, isn't. And I do not think it is honest make people pay 40, 50 dollars for you dancing... Id'rather, if I have to spend that much and see someone shaking his ass, go listening to Beyonce...
I hope Thom utilizes his low range more in the future, love how he sounds here.
Thom and Jonny look like they're having so much fun getting lost in this performance. Simply a stellar live version of such a killer song from HTTT!
I had forgotten how amazing this song is...

3:05 Thom is so jokey. Made me laugh out loud. (Although the song's subject matter is anything but funny).

Thom’s still got it
His lower register always goes so hard its so good
Mon vrai amour ! Xo
Only Radiohead would make a super dark album like Hail to the Thief and end it on a Dmaj7 to Gmaj7. Beautiful.
This would have been a great video to see what chords he's playing if you'd have kept the bloody camera still
they should play a punch at a wedding too
They really shouldn't ever play that trash ever again
