Thanks for showing. I then suppose without reading any literature, that Mohs scale does not depend on Pressure level. If you had huge pressure power on the level 7, you should not still be able to scratch it ?
Hmm interesting point. I've never considered the pressure - I've only ever used it just with the pressure we can exert with our hands, which I think is what it is intended for.

Yes, the softer rock that is lower on the scale will leave a streak on the harder rock, damaging the soft rock but not the harder one.
