    Is this in turin? If not does anyone know where you can go to see it in italy? I hear the dish originated in genoa, and is eaten all the way to nice, but u dont want to go to france if i can help it - only because i dont speak any french

    Just asking, why it's always be a round pan and not square or rectangular?

      While it is traditionally round, I have seen it cooked on square pans, so if you want to make it, you can definitely use a square pan.

      Ramy I'm guessing that because of a high temperature used, the corners in a square pan would burn before the center is properly cooked.

      It's not considered a pancake, but a type of bread. It's made with chickpea flour so it is gluten free, low carb, and also happens to be vegan.
