Never appreciated the AMG SL's until 5 years ago. They're even more capable on modern tires like Michelin Cup2's and with articulate steering feel.

You’re probably running improved performance from modern tires.
Are you sure your car is bone stock? If bought used, it could have a pulley/tune. But I agree with you, these definitely aren’t 13 sec cars
Yours is far from stock 🤣. They run 13.0 on a good day at 110 mph.
@@Youcallthesebagels_ lol plenty of examples on drag times of stock cars running low 12s. And "far from stock" ones are running 10s-11s.
