Lattice multiplication always intrigued me. I’m a college student right now (done with calc 2 and diff eq) and I was thinking to myself about all the math things that you literally never use again and this popped up. It was fun to see it done again after like 11 years 😂. Good stuff thanks

@@MathsWithJay yes its definitely a good method for starting out with math. Actually because this video struck my curiosity I decided to see if it was possible to make a cube that would allow for multiple iterations of lattice multiplication. Its kind of funny but it works. on the top you do a one iteration, and then drop down the numbers from that iteration to the two sides who share the edges with those numbers, and then treat the two orthogonal planes as one continuous plane with another number on the right hand side. Then on the bottom you have the final number spanning two edges. Again, it's a silly way to do math, but I found it entertaining.
