I'm sure they have enough police attention without someone calling a hit on someone's daughter purposely. I'm sure he'd say it to save his life, but as far as Tony believing it. I doubt it.
slight question...tonys blood on the back of his neck and shirt, why didn't police pick this up? plot hole or am i missing something? it's kind of spoiling it for me.
I don't think DNA evidence was available yet. In the last season they talk about how DNA evidence has made things harder than it used to be; Some methods they used in the first seasons were no longer viable options in the end
@@ryank170 funny I am right now watching the episode. It’s Bobby who says it to tony on the boat. Somehow creepy also, I read this when Bobby talked about it oO
When Tony had his guard down he could have broken free and tried fighting him or getting the gun. Instead he cried but I guess I would too knowing who was behind you. Probably can't think clear in that situation.
@vk732 ...3 reasons why that wouldn't be possible: 1) Family uninvolved in "the hustle" (as tony refers to it here) are considered civilians and are strictly off limits to put in harms way in the eyes of made men. Both The Rat and Tony are well aware of this rule. 2) Once flipped, a rat will say anything to keep from getting bumped.
Tony says if Febby shot him at the hotel Febby's life would have been flushed down the shitter....like it isn't at that very moment? With Tony about to kill him? Febby would have been better off whacking Tony and then taking his family and hightailing it up north to Canada.
ManMonkey600 What he means is that he (Tony) had already tipped off Christopher that he spotted Fabian, a famous rat and that he may have recognized Tony at the gas station. If Tony turns up dead, Chris and subsequently Tony's whole crew would know exactly who did it and where to find him.
Tony's sticking up for himself, saying that he wouldn't have gotten away with it if he killed Tony, basically saying Feb never had the upper hand, but it actually coincidentally is a sort of nice thing to say, basically ridding Feb of the "if only I'd shot him" thought.
@vk732 No, it would not have saved him. Tony would have given him the oppotunity to tell him who the hit was given to in exchange for the guy getting to live, then Tony would have killed him anyway. The old rule of thumb was, if you get told to kill someone and you don't go through with the "work", you are going to get killed yourself anyway.
It's funny how this murder, which is the 5th murder of the series, is by strangulation, and Fabian being killed for being a traitor, and the 5th last murder of the series is Burt Gervasi, who is murdered by strangulation, also for being a traitor.
I love how people are talking about DNA and evidence. I have news for you IT'S A TV SHOW. Reality is boring. By your sad life logic there would be zero "whackings" in the Sopranos, and it just got that much more boring. Good job on ruining a great show because you insist on reality in a fantasy mob series.
"Reality is boring." it's actually much more entertaining than fiction, how shitty is your life? TV is made to be more exciting per second, but nothing Sopranos writers or any other writer can think of beats reality.
The best parts of The Sopranos, the best touches, are often taken from reality, TV producers kill for that kinda stuff, they even reference that in the episode where Jon Favreau steals all of Chris' stories.
"...one thing about us wise guys is that the hustle never ends" one of my favorite lines in the entire series.
You know Quasimodo predicted all this.
Bobby Bacala did lol
Best line ever to live by, also labeled as a snitch is a lifetime scar, you'll always be in jail just minus the bars. Courtesy of jayz
Me too
Jesus you see a dialogue about how being a mobster consumes one's life and you take it as an ode to hustle culture lmao.
The hustle never ends best line ever !!!
"Good morning RAT"
Tony knows this guy's in witness protection. He knows the guy has no power to order hits on anyone.
I use to feel sorry for the guy, but I realised he had no issue killing Tony *on sight!*. If it weren’t for Meadow, Tony would have been dead.
Yeah, he pretty much admitted that he wasn’t cold enough to do them both and was looking for sympathy. That dog don’t hunt
@@GohnwithaG hey nice pf pic, there's a full live KEXP performance of the smile on RUclips
The Guy had a wife and daughter, i feel sorry for him
You shot me in dat motel your life woulda been flushed down da peeshadoo...
All these killings, leaving dna at the scene... I'm surprised there were any characters left!
For a 20 stone boss he moves like a ninja!
the deer's like "LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU!!!" LOL
Another small detail of the sopranos
It's like Febby didn't even try to fight.
Amazing theatrics
Mistake was dropping the gun.
that's some pretty strong wire
Happy 25th anniversary to the episode that changed television history
Flushed down a pizza dude
RIP James
Tony has the makings of a Varsity Hitman.

@@ryank170 cause it was available. This was 2000, not 1800’s.
6 years later, I’ll answer your question. Tony would have just called someone to remove the body. This was in the middle of nowhere.
When Tony had his guard down he could have broken free and tried fighting him or getting the gun. Instead he cried but I guess I would too knowing who was behind you. Probably can't think clear in that situation.
If he had only learned to make lips look more realistic....
Feel the love, feel the love motherfuckers!!
Its true, it never ends. For instance you could be shot in a gas station parking lot and still come back as a house. Live forever.

Lol you are confused if you think there still exits rules to this here game

Tony is the main character, when he dies the camera goes black
plenty of ways to get out of a garotte like that-but then you couldn't have the ironic dialogue.
@PrismaMD I agree, it drives me nuts. Did you see that movie "the town"?? Those guys did it right.
American ninja
Let's count all the oaths Tony broke during the series
@MrDenizen Spot on!! Exactly what I was thinking. At least take the fucking wire, ya know?

we've got plenty :)
@trainhoboVEGAS 'PICHADU'.... means toilet in Italian.
