I thought this was for beginners. Where do you turn it on? Must you charge it first and for how long ? Apple website was too advanced so I came to RUclips and still don't know what to do. Us seniors are behind so please keep that in mind.

Is it easy to transfer data from 6th generation to 9th generation?
I got the same i-pad but How do I install apps? Money ??? My parents dont let me. :( I don't want them to return this I can only seee RUclips in Safari
set up your apple id and follow the rest of your video open up the app store and look for a game/app you want and click get and type in your apple id and password you can then save it so you dont need to do it and after that you can install apps normally

1/2024 Hi killed my 7th gen iPad. Apple did a replace with another 7th GEN. So it took quite some time for it to download my 17.2 update on the iPad. Such that I thought I was messing up and was doing some reading on the phone. So I was able to hold the phone up and capture the image and then have it do it automatically. Sometimes manual for a novice person can get them really screwed up because they don’t know what they’re doing anyway. So there is a balance between being a novice and being semi intelligent being oh my God what in the hell am I doing. So thank you for your information. Mine finally has verified the update after 30 minutes. And is now loading it onto the iPad. I just love minor heart attacks don’t you? Ha ha. Blessings.
And I will disagree on people mainly liking the dark mode. It can really muck stuff up. But that’s just me me. What the hell do I know. I don’t have a RUclips channel. So just be safe out there. We need you and what you offer us thank you so much. Gail in central Florida Someday in January 2024.

This is a good setup video, however many peopel do not have the time or confidence to do this, so a lot fo comments are well wie of the mark. As a tech I do this for clients all the time and this is no different from setting up a laptop or PC, as it takes time..many many comments devalue the services offered by a good technician and within reason..some places are just ripping clients off, but i would say 40-60 bucks is reasonable for what is required. That is without starting to add email accounts etc...

Hi i recently bought my ipad from my school and they reseted it but its asking for an apple id when i set it up so i can get into the ipad and when i put it in it says i am wrong even though i know that i am right. Do u have any advice
If you bought it from your school, you'll need to contact their IT department and have them remove the iPad from their iCloud/MDM (mobile device management) system. Otherwise, you can't do anything about it.

Brother just bought a new iPad, his old one was stolen and he forgot his Apple id password.
When he tried to reset his password using his iPhone, they sent the reset code to his old iPad.
How do you get around this?
Maybe I should do a new Gmail and password since the relatives my not get along?

I’ve never used antivirus for iOS devices like iPhone and iPads… apple store scans all apps for malicious codes and all.

@@joedevitto6113 I never open something from someone I don’t know. They always trying to get me. But for windows laptops n Macbbok (Mac OS) yes I do have antivirus software on them.
@@joedevitto6113 if u travel a lot yea look into an iPad or tablet (Samsung galaxy tab A7 2022). It will make ur life a lot easier!! Just need learn a little learning curve but worth it.

You probably bought an iCloud locked iPad. There's no way to get around that unless you have the previous owner remove that device from their iCloud account. Apple will not help you.

Only if you want to use 4G/5G on your cellular iPad.

What can you do if it 2:59 says your wi fi password is incorrect..but it isnt..its been in use 5 years without issue
You're asking about wifi password, but the timestamp you put in is about the Apple ID. Those are 2 different things.
