A friend and I at work always talk about Tekken Guilty gear and other fighting games while we have the chance, he likes to play hwoarang and I play Alisa. He's known of Tekken since the first game but didn't get competitive until Tekken 6, tekken 8 will be my first fighting game taking part in from its launch. Played Tekken 7 and know some lore but overall am excited to play Alisa again.

At first when i saw her design i was upset because she is my main but now I think her outfit is growing in me also her voice actress did a really good job
I still prefer her first design, but I think they wanted to make her look more mature and that clothing fits, but I think the pink stockings and gloves was a bit too much information

Being a series fan for a long time ass time. Still to this day I still don't understand why Alisa speaks Japanese. I must have missed this, if it was explained. However Dr B. Speaks English in older games. Then Russian in Tag 2. Being the alleged daughter of Dr. B, I would only assume Alisa should speak English or Russian. It doesn't bother me, I'm just curious.
I don't know whether it was Jin or heihachi that wanted to take her on a test run but her being a robot means she can speak any language she wants but her default is japanese

Being a series fan for a long time ass time. Still to this day I still don't understand why Alisa speaks Japanese. I must have missed this, if it was explained. However Dr B. Speaks English in older games. Then Russian in Tag 2.
Being the alleged daughter of Dr. B, I would only assume Alisa should speak English or Russian. It doesn't bother me, I'm just curious.
Well remember she was built at the Mishima zaibatsu so obviously at some point they wanted to see her capability
Her settings could be Japanese. She was made to serve Jin after all who speaks Japanese.
I don't know whether it was Jin or heihachi that wanted to take her on a test run but her being a robot means she can speak any language she wants but her default is japanese
@@Cybfreak99 that makes sense. So technically she's a hell of a linguist. Would have been a cool thing if Alisa was the only character to speak different languages per character interaction. Would have been a neat touch.
I've personnally always thought that she speaks japanese because she was supposed to be Jin's bodyguard, and so their communication would be "easier". Now that I think of it, Alisa saying some russian words while fighting would be nice.
