Manchester Utd | The Official History 1878-2002 (DVD) | 'The Seventies'

The programme starts from United's days in 1878 when they were known as Newton Heath. Honours followed 30 years later as United won the first division in 1908. History continues looking at Old Trafford when it was bombed during the war, the Busby era with the Munich Air Crash, and a few FA Cups in the 70's and 80's. Then it concentrates on Ferguson's success when United dominated the Premiership and won the treble in 1999.

one of the greatest periods of uniteds history. 2 years after being european champions then cracks started to appear. wilf didnt have much of a chance..o'farrell was a disaster n tommy took them down but came back stronger n brillant football still talked about in 2024. the cup loss in 76 was disappointing but 77 was amazing. but tommy d had a self destruct button n sexton finished the decade destroying what was good in 75,76,77. still one of the most exciting decades. will someone buy me a time machine!!!
