However finding a substitute for losing a tooth is pretty tough. My best guess right now, although not great, would be to eat something really spicy that would make your mouth numb (maybe something like a mix of clove and strong pepper?) and it could be sprayed in the mouth with some fake plyers for the role play
@@lue64 Die above 6 exist. I'd personally use a d20 for this as it wouldn't be likely to max out during an irl game of Inscryption, but multiple d20 or a d50 would work for games like that.
@WallyWafflest yes indeed but i also feel like if everyone is asking for It, why not just give to them? Nothing fancy, just the pack with all cards in all acts (or one pack for each) that would be enough to satisfy everyone and there's no need for IRL nerfing.
@@Gust3883 the other player would already know that the wolf cub will turn into the wolf. you’d have normal wolf cards in the deck with the back of the card empty, and wolf cub cards with the grown wolf in the back. when you draw from the deck you’d see which card is which, it wouldn’t get mixed up. why wouldn’t it work?

Idea for creating leshy in this game, set up a little deck of random cards and just draw from that for leshy and roll a d4 to pick what lane the card is played in.
I'm not into strategy card games, but there's something about this I really like. It think it's going to be the first one of it's kind I ever purchase and play.
So what I personally do, is I play as the Dungeon master (Leshy) and so whoever I play with is playing the game as normal, but I get to choose the scenarios n stuff

This is really cool and you’ve obviously put a lot of effort into this project. Just one thing… Inscryption is perfect as a video game, but not so much as well, a real game two people are supposed to play. As the player in Inscryption, you have access to necessary information on order to strategize around the AI player’s moves, and the AI players don’t have to pay any kind of cost for their cards.
That’s where you’re wrong friend, I’ve played lots of times with multiple people and it’s just as fun if not more fun. You can do it like any normal TGC, or you can play like it’s a game of D&D where one player IS Leshy and make a story and atmosphere. It’s honestly the most fun I’ve had with a card game in a while.
@@JazMan2001 There is also a perfect example of Magnificus' arena in Act 3, where it's designed for PvP, having 1 row for each of them. It's subtle, but makes more sense for player duels.
I mean, one idea I had for a two player Inscryption game is to have both players set up their cards in the queue. That way, both can strategize around what the other is doing. Haven’t been able to try it out but it might work, idk
The creator of the game should really make an IRL version. With like only one Ouroboros ever created, and only that one Ouroboros is allowed to exist, and there's no indication that the deck you bought is the one that has it. And it should also have a very distinct marker on it, with special properties, like it being a hologram, or having secret text on it, hidden, that only the creator can verify (publicly even), that way there's no possibility of fakes.
Oh mate, where did you got the scale and what weight do you use? I need that because I want to play it myself but using the line with numbers instead the scale is not as good as sweet scale.

I suggest you make a special sleeve for cards that have extra properties, i.e. wolf cub with a wolf on its back, specifically so the other player can keep their cards completwly anonymous from the other player. Then, you can pull that card out of its sleeve to play it. I also suggest the act of "sacrificing" be take a card you want to play, and tap it against the cards sacrificed. Then, remove the cards from play. You can have

It has three rings to "bind" it together, and it just so happens a lot of companies incorporate these three rings into the designs of stuff like lined paper or even their own binder... Plastic paper thingies that can be customized by the designer to have it, say, be one pouch, or have multiple pouches for stuff like cards. How they "encorporate the rings" is by having three holes on one end of the paper, in the same places the binder rings are... Always made in. The rings are actually designed specifically to be able to be clamped and unclamped, sort of like... A claw that locks itself in place. This way, you can insert whatever you like. You can even insert paper that isn't compatable! ...if you, uh... Like ripping paper and losing friends. It's pretty versatile, and really useful. Pretty durable, as well! That thick plastic... Or whatever it is, cover does NOT mess around.

In the case of someone interested in a real Inscryotion Boardgame, a young french man just created a print and play adaptation as a two player game, and until now this is really convincing

On a side note, you could make the sigils removable, so when someone plays as leshy, you can upgrade the cards like in the sacrifice altars. That is probably one of the more fun parts of the game and it would be a shame not to transport it irl
2 years later, this is so damn cool. And honestly, with a few adjustments, I can totally see Inscryption being a decently balanced PVP game. And jokes about the knife aside, candleholders would've been a cheap and quick addition that would've really added to the atmosphere.
a good way to implement the constantly changing attack & health points would be to have them blank, so you can change the stats when necessary. kinda like old choose your own adventure books
In the physical copy I made I split all cards up from their sigils and got clear acrylic cards printed with just the sigils. Then I used card sleeves to hold both a card and a sigil as one. This way I could mix and match sigils to cards and combine cards like you can in game. If you want I can send you over all the files if you want to have your own made

I just got a cheep apothecary scale off Amazon, and I use small cardboard chips for the “teeth” anything else was too heavy. Hopefully this helps!
