Great explanation Cyrill! Your videos are really good prepared and the train of thought is always well thought out! This really helps for learning and being ready to start CV projects! Continue your great work!
Cool! Thank you. So basically, knowing extrinsics and intrinsics of the camera, we can tell where a person is located in 3d space? Those 3d coordinates will be relative to the camera?
In general you estimate coordinates with respect to a Geodetic coordinate system. You do that by using a set of well-measured landmarks in the field (ground control points), measured by other, usually Geodetic, methods.
I've searched and searched for a clear, intuitive explanation of the camera imaging model. My search ends here!
Thanks!
This is by far the best explaination of this topic. Thank you!
Great quick explanation of camera params
Amazing work! Hats off to you good sir, concise explanation of a very complex topic

Thank you professor :)
What a nice clear and easily understandable explaination i have never ever heard before in my life , from india 🇮🇳🇮🇳
Thanks a lot!
Really nice quality content, thank you.
You nailed it , thanks you.

Except of the distance/scale (unless you know the size of the person, then you can resolve the scale)
Thank you!! Very clear explanation!!
What is the matrix P called and how are intrinsics and extrinsics brought together in this matrix?
Спасибо! Очень доходчиво :)
hello, thanks, can you explain the calibration omnidirction camera scaramuzza,i am realy want it ,please.
I hope this course series is getting better and better. Thanks a lot.
I have an image and there is glass in it. I want to get a camera matrix (P). How can ı calculate x and X?
Not knowing x, P and X will make it impossible to obtain P from x = P X
XYZ extrinsics are relative to what in the real world?
I an (arbitrary) world frame. Eg UTM or any other world/object frame you want
