    Asparagus is good chopped up in Alfredo! You could cook it on the side for whoever wants to add it in ☺️❤️

    In Oregon, Kroger is called Fred Meyer. That’s where we shop primarily! ❤

    Family of 7 here with growing kids. Gone are the days where a box of mac and cheese feeds everyone. Thats just a snack for my 14 year old now!

    How did your aspired budget of $800 work out for you then last month? Did that seem feasible for a family of 8?

      It definitely didn’t seem feasible unfortunately. We were doing great at first with it but I think we just need a little more wiggle room.

      @@PenniesAndSalt I believe it! We are a homeschool family of 6 (and my kids are younger) and even buying almost everything conventional and shopping mostly at Aldi $800 would be around what we spend. Sometimes less. My goal for 2024 is to fully track groceries each month so at the end of the year I can get a true idea of how much groceries are costing us.
