I Will NEVER Be Protestant Again Because Of These 10 Reasons

- Growing up in a nominal Protestant household in a predominantly Protestant area of the United States, church attendance started as a semi-regular practice, then became occasional, and eventually stopped altogether.
In my early twenties, I felt a strong desire to live as a Christian and prayed for guidance on which church to join. God made it clear that he was leading me to the Catholic Church. At the time, I didn’t take this to mean that Catholicism was absolutely true while all other churches were false-I simply saw it as the right path for me, much like others might be called to be Baptists or Methodists.
However, my Protestant friends and family did not share this perspective. To them, almost any church was acceptable-except the Catholic Church. They frequently challenged my faith, raising various accusations against Catholicism. Determined to find the truth, I delved into Scripture, studied history, read the writings of the early Church Fathers, and deepened my understanding of Catholic teachings.
Through this journey, I reached an undeniable conclusion: Catholicism is the absolute truth, while Protestantism is gravely mistaken.

Thank you for this wonderful witness of Roman Catholicism. I am so happy you are one with us. Your humility is heart warming. Pax Christi be with all of us. Vicki: “Christ is Victorious”
PS. Being so articulate you help guide protestants back home. At one time we were all one. I thank Mary for her “yes” to angel Gabriel.
Thank you so much for your kind words, Vicki. I am deeply grateful for your encouragement and support. It’s truly a blessing to be part of the same journey in faith, and to witness the love and unity within the Roman Catholic Church. As we reflect on the victory of Christ, may we continue to share His light with others and walk together in peace.
Indeed, the humility of Mary in her "yes" to God's call is a powerful example for all of us. Through her, we see the beauty of obedience and trust in God's plan. I pray that, as we move forward, we can help guide all who seek the truth, and bring those who are distant from the Church back into the embrace of Christ.
Pax Christi to you and all those with us on this journey of faith!
💯 agree. God bless you for spreading the truth🙏
Thank you so much! May God bless you as well. It's a privilege to share His truth with others. 🙏
Thanks a million for your testimony.
Thanks a lot for sharing your faith.
And let's pray together for our brethren Protestants.
May they agree opening their minds and spirits to light
Thank you so much for your kind words and support. It is truly a blessing to be able to share the faith and journey together in Christ. I absolutely agree-let us pray earnestly for our Protestant brothers and sisters, that they may be open to the truth and light of God. May His grace guide them as He has guided us. Peace and blessings to you!
The beautiful hymn being sung in the beginning is “Ave Verum Corpus”, with the music written by Mozart. The lyrics sing to Our Eucharistic Lord. They are:
“Hail, true Body, born of the Virgin Mary,
having truly suffered, sacrificed on the cross for mankind,
from whose pierced side water and blood flowed:
Be for us a sweet foretaste in the trial of death!
O sweet Jesus, O holy Jesus,
O Jesus, son of Mary,
have mercy on me. Amen.”
May God continue to bless you dear brother
Thank you so much for your kind words and blessings. May God continue to guide and strengthen you as well, my dear brother, in His love and truth.

Thank you! May God bless you abundantly 🙏🙏🙏
It is not about tearing down what Protestantism gets right, but realizing that Catholicism discovered all these things centuries earlier.
I’m happy with your decision because you were able to seek for the truth about the real teaching of Jesus our savior.
Thank you for your kind words! It’s always a blessing to seek and embrace the truth that Jesus, our Savior, has revealed to us. I believe that understanding His true teachings brings us closer to living a life of faith and love. May God continue to guide us on this journey of truth and understanding.
Thank you.May God Bless you always.
"tu es Pierre, et sur cette pierre je bâtirai mon église." Note that in French, the word pierre is the same at the name Pierre. It is the stone; Peter is the stone.

The Bible is divided into two parts the old testament, the Messiah, son of God was not born and sacrificed yet ,with Christ's birth and death humanity received a new era an era of salvation through Jesus Christ and Paul taught this fact that's why. NEW TESTAMENT, Jesus Christ made every thing new
Luke 24:27-31 shows an early form of the Catholic Mass in the encounter with Our Risen Lord on the road to Emmaus. It says, “And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning Himself. … When He was at the table with them, He took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him”. They recognized Him in the Holy Eucharist! The Scriptures and the “breaking of the bread” developed into the Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist in the Mass.
Amen 🙏🙌 LORD SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST 💓!
Jesus could never have instituted the teaching of 'sola scriptura' because He is the Lord of all creation.
Being the Lord of all creation Jesus knows that without a hierarchy/head of the visible Church He built on Peter, people's fallen nature would turn into chaos and become what the protestant world is today.
God bless you Brother in Christ!
To be in the true church you need to be specially called for the Spirit blows wherever it wants and you are being blown by him
Can a protestant be saved by Christ ? May God save your soul and everyone of your family members.
Thank you
Thanks for your witness truhful of catholic faith.
Praise Lord Jesus Christ Amen

How can you be a Roman Catholic given all the wickedness and shame it has brought on the name of Christ ?
We can believe in it because Our Lord established it in Matthew 16:18-19. As the speaker said, it is the church in which Our Lord works His salvation. We are all sinners.
@ Christ did not found the Roman Catholic church. Peter was not a pope.
We are saved by God’s Grace alone through faith in the Finished works Christ alone for the glory of God alone! The Gospel was Finished and Completed by Jesus Christ!
“When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”
John 19:30
The Gospel is the Good News of what Works Jesus Christ completed for our behalf to Earn our Salvation before the Father to those that Believe in Him!
There is Nothing for Us to Do in the Gospel! Jesus Christ is the Only One To Do The Gospel!
Our Response is Only To Believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
“Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.””
Acts 16:30-31
While it's true that Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross is the finished work that secures our salvation, it’s important to remember that Catholic theology teaches salvation as a process that involves both God's grace and our cooperation with that grace. The grace of God is indeed freely given, but it is through faith and works that we live out our salvation.
In the book of James (2:24), it is written: “You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.” This reflects the understanding that faith, though necessary, must be alive and active through charity (the works we do in response to God’s love). So, while Jesus accomplished everything on the Cross, we are still called to actively participate in that grace, living out our faith in concrete ways.
In Acts 16:31, we read that belief in Jesus is essential for salvation. However, the call to believe in Christ also means embracing all that He taught and commanded, including the necessity of baptism (John 3:5) and living according to His commandments (Matthew 28:19-20).
So, we do not earn salvation by our works alone, but we respond to God’s grace by living according to His will, and this is how we remain in a state of grace and continue to grow in holiness.
@@CompatibilityWorld @compatibilityWorld “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”

Surely you are not serious. Read Matthew 16: 18 " You're Peter, upon this rock l will build my Church. Your interpretation is wrong.
@ @emmanuelgores4305 The Rock is Jesus Christ! He has always been and always will be the rock upon which the church stands!
Read Mathew Chapter 16:18. What does it say?
At the end of the 1st TESTAMENT, the Jews other than celebrating the eight days of LIGHT that competed with the Catholics' CHRISTMAS, the books of Maccabees were ignored since the Holy Books conveyed praying for the DEAD, embracing the physical Ressurection, and were anti-Roman. Luther took advantage of that movement. Times of Jesus secretly accepted its teaching name of their children as SIMON, JAMES, JUDE, and other common names of MACCABEDES. The Eucharist or mass was referred to as THE NEW ETERNAL TESTAMENT. The only BIBLE Paul had was THE OLD TESTAMENT. So created the NEW TESTAMENT?
It seems there's a misunderstanding of some key aspects of Church history and theology. To clarify, the books of the Maccabees, along with other deuterocanonical books, were indeed accepted in the Jewish canon of the time (in the Septuagint, a Greek translation of the Hebrew Scriptures), but were later excluded by the Rabbinic Jewish tradition after the destruction of the Second Temple. The Catholic Church, however, retains these books in the Old Testament as inspired scripture, based on the early Christian tradition that recognized them.
The books of Maccabees (e.g., 2 Maccabees 12:46) do show evidence of prayers for the dead, which is part of the Catholic tradition. This is not a new or 'Roman' concept, but rather one that dates back to the Jewish faith itself, long before Christianity or the rise of the Roman Empire. Similarly, the resurrection of the body is a core teaching in both Judaism and Christianity, affirmed in various parts of the Old and New Testaments.
The Eucharist, as described by Jesus at the Last Supper, is indeed referred to as the "New Covenant" or "New Testament," a fulfillment of God's promise to humanity. This is seen in passages like Luke 22:20, where Jesus establishes the Eucharist as the sign of the New Covenant. The idea is that Jesus is the fulfillment of the Old Testament promises, and through His death and resurrection, a new era of salvation is inaugurated.
The Apostle Paul would have had access to the Hebrew Scriptures (the Old Testament) as well as to the oral teachings of the apostles and the early Church, which were eventually written down as the New Testament. The concept of the "New Testament" was not fully realized in Paul's time, but the teachings and the letters of the apostles, which came to form the New Testament, were already circulating in the early Christian communities.
Martin Luther did indeed reject certain parts of the traditional Christian canon, including the deuterocanonical books, as part of his break with the Catholic Church. However, the Church's teaching on the canon has always been that these books are inspired and part of Sacred Scripture. Luther's reforms led to a different view, but they were not a reflection of the ancient Jewish canon or early Christian practice.
In summary, the "New Testament" was not an invention, but a historical reality that emerged as the Apostles and early Christians discerned the teachings of Jesus Christ. The Eucharist is central to that understanding, as the fulfillment of God's promises to Israel. The Catholic Church has always held the fullness of God's revelation, both in the Old and New Testaments.
Don’t care your choice
You present a lie. Jesus is the Rock the church is built on. Not Peter. And Mary is Blessed saved beleaver not capable of making intercession on our behalf.
First, regarding the question of Jesus being the Rock and Peter’s role, it's important to recognize that while Jesus is indeed the ultimate foundation of the Church, He specifically appointed Peter as the earthly leader. In Matthew 16:18, when Jesus says, "On this rock, I will build My Church," He is not only referring to Himself as the foundation but also to Peter, whose name literally means "rock" (from the Greek "petros"). The Catholic understanding is that Jesus chose Peter to hold a unique role in guiding and governing His Church, as evidenced by Christ giving Peter the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven in Matthew 16:19. This is a clear indication that Peter had a pivotal responsibility in leading the Church. While Christ is the ultimate Rock, He entrusted Peter with authority to shepherd His flock. This is not a contradiction, but a fulfillment of Christ’s divine plan for His Church.
As for the role of Mary, the Catholic Church does not teach that Mary is the Savior. However, we recognize her as "Blessed" (Luke 1:48) and as the Mother of the Savior, a woman of profound faith and obedience. The belief in her intercession does not diminish the role of Jesus Christ as the sole mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). Rather, we understand intercession as a natural part of Christian community-just as we ask fellow believers to pray for us, we believe that Mary, being in Heaven and intimately close to Jesus, can intercede on our behalf. This is reflected in the account of the wedding at Cana (John 2:1-11), where Mary, seeing the needs of others, brought them before Jesus. Her role is one of compassion and faithfulness, not as a substitute for Christ, but as someone who points us towards Him.
It’s crucial to understand that these beliefs are rooted in Scripture and Church tradition, and are not "lies" but rather deeply meaningful interpretations of God’s word and plan for salvation. If these ideas challenge your perspective, I invite you to engage in further study of Scripture and the early Church writings, which can offer a fuller picture of how the early Christians understood the roles of both Peter and Mary in the context of their faith.
Jesus just love to do meaningless things, eh? He had to go through the trouble of changing Simon's name to Peter, which meant "rock", but did not build His church on that rock. What was the point of changing Simon's name to Peter, then? Must be for fun. O Simon, son of Jonah, today I will change your name to Peter (which meant Rock), but the church I which I will build will not be on you, if you ask why, the answer would be I felt like it, changing your name has no meaning at all.
JUAN 1:42
@JamesCsoros I highly recommend that you concentrate and go to your denomination or sect depending on where you belong and interpret it however you want and leave us soldiers of Christ alone.
The CHURCH is the NEW COVENANT. Per Paul, the church has a HYARCHY (Just as the JEWS did till 70 AD with the destruction of the TEMPLE WORSHIP) The Jews' Passover meal today HAS NO LAMB on the MENU. The CHURCH is the continuation of the Jewish foundation and Traditions: Echo of Jews with Catholic Priests, Theologians, Exersists, new Scripture writings, Dogmas, prayers, honoring Saints Feast Days (Liturgical Calendar), and leadership that will be accountable (Hebrews 13.17). Please study HEBREWS, and you will fall in LOVE WITH THE EUCHARIST.
The real reason is you let yourself trapped in satans web.
Jesus forgave you because you do not know what you are saying. You obviously don't know faith and Jesus. You have a closed heart and you cannot receive the fruits that Jesus gives to all of us in the Holy Eucharist. Peace be with you in the glorious Name of Jesus!!!🙏🙏🙏

That's like saying that Jesus is able to drive out demons coz of Belzebul!
@stsplit8973 I was catholic for 30 years I know what I'm saying.
@jcgallora6667
If you look for Jesus with all your heart, mind, and soul, you will find Jesus, not a religion full of idols
@stsplit8973
I say that because I know what I'm saying. I've been catholic for close to 30 years.
