Not sure winter steamers get any better than the Xcel Infiniti X2 5/4mm winter wetsuit!
The Infiniti is the longest serving wetsuit in the Xcel line-up and for very good reason; you're getting a seriously warm wetsuit (personally I think they're the warmest available) which is incredibly comfortable, flexible and reasonably priced.
This Infiniti has been treated to some serious upgrades all designed to keep you surfing at your best in complete comfort for longer.
The Infiniti would be ideal for surfing northern European waters throughout winter from November right through to April.
The entire wetsuit is constructed using the new Channel Flex neoprene; a lightweight and even more stretchy neoprene which sheds water and dries faster than ever before. In addition to the Channel Flex outer, the Infiniti is lined with Xcel's Radiant Rebound which features a metal lining under the textile that blocks cold temperatures and reflects the body-heat generated within the wetsuit back towards the body just like the silver reflective 'blankets' mountain rescue use.
Other key features include; the Semi-dry chest zipper with magnetic closure, triple glued and BlindStitched seams with Fusion X internal seam tape, Nanoprene Lite limestone based neoprene.
The Xcel fit is second to none with an engineered fit system that fits like a second skin. The back of the knees have flex grooves which prevent bunching and keeps your knees flexible.

Best wetsuit in my opinion for cold water and LONGEVITY!! They aren't quite as flexible as some of the other brands but that is changing with these newer models but Xcel suits always last the longest for me. I have suits that are 8 years old and still work great. You can see some of the glue turning color slightly but they are awesome whereas some of the other brands only last a year or two. I'm buying this new X2 and I'm super stoked about it. Great review! Cheers.

I’ve always used O’Neill. They feel great but quality is turning to garbage. Do you surf cold water and if I might ask what thickness you go with xcels roughly around the 40* Fahrenheit mark?
