Last guy shouldn't be allowed to race anymore, that's clearly intentional and potentially life threatening. Look at that hit, a few more degrees of rotation and he would have gone head first into the barriers.

@@Alexzw92 looks like an accident form 8:41, because that is AFTER Prost swerved into him. Big Question is whether Prost swerved to intentionally hit or to block .. he looked to right mirror , then swerved to left when he didn't see car in right mirror.. Prost may not have known the car was along side him .. and that other dude went so deep to pull along side, if Prost had let him go, he may have crashed on his own.
@@Alexzw92 definitely not an accident. Watch from 8:00. He swerves in WAYYYY to early to take that chicane. Kind of remind me of vettel and lecrecs crash in 2019. Vettel seemed frustrated that he got passed and turned a little to early

Heidfeld the unluckiest one so far, he hasn't won a race since his PreF1 era, in 2001 o 2002. Just watching him flipping over 1 corner away for his first victory in the 1st FE race hurts a lot

Actually, before the 00's, if you're in inside the turn, you're able to push the oponent off the track. The rule of "leave a space" is new.

The two most dangerous and unfair drivers in Formula E were Prost and DiGrassi in my opinion. Always in accidents, to speak nothing of the 'accident' that won Di Grassi the race in London.

Haha! I know nothing of Formula E and this is literally the first video I've watched of it. When hearing the commentry on that crash, I had to replay to make sure I had the cars correct, then my brain went straight to the question, "Why not crash if it means a championship?"

I don't know why but it looks always like even with two brocken tires and no front and rear wings the cars could drive ahead, like there was nothing... Especially when you compare them to Formula 1 cars!

I would say that the reason why former F1 drivers usually had a poor start of their Formula E season is that they are not used to the racing style of the championship. It is more like a NASCR race where contacts or even intentional crashes were not penalized nor even investigated.

In F1 drivers are scared out of making overtakes but in Formula e, people go for over takes and even when it ends in an accident it was still great racing

Then you don't know how to watch F1 or you have severe ADHD. While Singapore has never been an overtake fest, the strategies and mid field battles made it great.
The formula e drivers go for overtakes where there us no space. They dont leave space one to another. You can say that this is more spectacular, but it isnt great racing

Honestly though at 1:45 u can see vergne streering into the other guy's wheel, preventing him from turning to the right, just an unfortunate accident i guess
It took me a while to figure out what exactly happened in this crash. In Piquet's case, you see that he has to go narrow into the beginning, and he accelerates early into the 2nd half of the turn. You can see Piquet's back wheels "rev up" as he hits the mid-point, indicating the early acceleration. In Vergne's case, I think when he got slightly ahead of Piquet, he honestly thought that Piquet was behind him. You can see Vergne talking a slightly wider-line, but narrow enough that he was confident he was a car lengths ahead, and you see him accelerate later into the turn which ended up going into Piquet. So there were mistakes on both ends, Piquet accelerating early and Vergne acting like he had passed when he hadn't. I think they are both faulty, because in one case, Vergne could have just taken a wider line like the cars behind him, but on the other hand Piquet could have not accelerated early.
