Dot is probably the character that has benefited the most out of the new Terastal course arc. Even though she's awkward at times, their expedition through Paldea show that Dot cares a lot for Liko and Roy - even taking the role of leader whenever they are in a pinch, almost as if Dot worries about Liko and Roy in a similar way as Murdock worries about her. I really like that!
I would argue that at the moment it benefited roy the most in comparison since he had little chance to do anything the first two arcs

For me it's Dot at no1 Then Liko and Roy tied
I am liking Dot it was all thanks to this episode where Dot faces Larry even tho Dot lost Dot still passed not only because of the growth but also because of Qualxy evolves
Dot is definitely the best character in the show
I mean, the story of Horizons is not finished, so maybe in the future one of them could become champion once they found the Land of Laqua and defeat GIbeon.
I wanna see Liko trash his Terastalized Zygarde with Terapagos!!!

Remember when liko having anxiety? Im remember when someone said liko have no development, and when i told them that liko have anxiety once, they dont believe it, dot have best development, maybe because her development is the easiest one to see from antisocial into socialist
The writer really do a good job making a impressive character development. I really like dot as a character, just like you mention in the video, her character has many remarkeble growth. I hope we got to see her adventure in the future.
I discover that the trio (so far) will have 1 major character development. Liko has more courage in battle now, dot overcomes her fear, and roy became more patient (press F for roy 🫡). Man pladea arc is the best.
Someone says each protagonist will have 2 defeats 1 win. Dot won againts poppy, Roy won againts bracius, and Liko (potentially) won againts grusha (if she dont, the writer really likes to bully her fr)

I love Dot. She's my favorite Black character in the anime.

Edit(Kind of long): I actually do think Dot is Black, but it's also an inside joke to me. A few years ago I watched a video called Being Black in Pokemon where the creator was questioning whether Iris was actually Black based on her purple hair. It's just too funny to me that Pokémon created a light skinned Black girl(which exists in real life. Some of my cousins are about the same skin tone) with purple hair almost like it was a direct response to that video.
It's somewhat possible that she's adopted or something but it's unlikely considering her mom has the same hair and stuff.(From what I can remember) Either way, unless the anime directly says she's adopted(or said it somewhere I missed it cuz I'm behind on the anime) it's better to just assume she's Black like the rest of her family.

Honestly i think the only good evalution line in all of paldea tbh is sprigattito but i personally wouldn't chose it cuz i dont like cats and its a grass type although the only ggrass starter id choose would be snivy cuz its just way cooler but when fuecoco and quaxly evolve the fire starter loki looks dumb and the water one isnt my cup of tea and the galarian starters are i think way better by far visually except for when grookey evolves into thwakey
It's difficult to juggle between 3 main characters. I still wanna applaud the new Japanese team behind Horizons for giving Liko, Roy, Dot space to show development. Recent episodes also showed Roy's past and omg I like him more for being so brave separating from his parents that young! I miss the Volt Tacklers and hope this arc will end soon.
