We're about to scrap a 30 year old Okuma LB-12 because it's just so worn out from a very productive life. The load monitoring in it is brilliant and tells you stuff you can't see or hear. I has software features that a lot of its modern competitors don't even have as an option.
Garganzuul u should never throw away a Okuma there is a place that rebuilds them to new for alot less that new..
We have U4000 at my work. Don't know muck about it and it's quite new.
Ask if you can get some training on it and learn how to use it.
I've been running an U3000 and U4000 for a few years now and they are great machines - Very fun to run and program.
I have my place already with 2 index g300 flex's and g200.
@@Rasmus661 I am looking to run on now. I ran the Mori CTX BETA for a few years. It close to the U3000 as far as axis goes. I just had a interview at a shop.
