As I expected, some of my favorite games were in your bottom tier and some of my least favorite were in your top. I always love to see your take on games and sometimes our tastes are very similar but sometimes very opposite. I appreciate that based on your description of a game and what you like and don't like about it I can usually tell if I will like it or not, even if our opinion differs on it. It's so great that there's space for everyone in the hobby, I really love your channel and I'm glad to see you guys still going strong.
Thanks for the video! It would have been good if you put the number ranking for each game, or even every 10th game, just we have a better idea where you are on the list
just hearing the games is a bit of an interesting way to look back on the year--brings up good memories. I REALLY want to love Things in Rings a bit more, feels like a great concept but a touch of too much subjectivity. Bias here, but love the Lone Wolves shoutout
So You haven't played Fall of Lumen? Have You even heard about this game? If not I highly recommend it, deckbuilding mechanic is simply fantastically implemented here.
I'm wondering which games were farthest apart on your lists. I think it may have been Rock Hard 1977, but that may be because it's one of my favorites and paid the most attention to it.
I honestly think 2024 might be one of my favorite years ever for new releases. Some amazing titles got to the table this year and many more still waiting to be played. My favorites of the year are: 1) Star Wars Unlimited 2) Sankore 3) Shackleton Base: A Journey to the Moon 4) Civolution 5) Men-Nefer 6) The Lord of the Rings: Duel for Middle-earth 7) Fall of Lumen 8) Skyrise 9) Wondrous Creatures 10) Reef Project
Would love to see these in a tier list setting to differentiate the tiers you were talking about. My brain had a hard time keeping up with you 😂
This was a great year for boardgames. Your top 50 are so good.

That's a lot of games!! Congratulations to your 20K milestone. Keep up with the excellent content. Your videos are so entertaining.
Around 9:30 Sunniva said Saltfjord but the image was of Salton Sea, just so you know
