  • I'm back! And I've also completely run out of adjectives to describe what Jett Lawrence is doing on a 450. Not only has he now clinched the AMA Pro Motocross Championship as a rookie, he still has a perfect season in tact having gone 18-0 in the motos so far with just two rounds remaining. It's absolutely insane and today we'll talk about just how insane it really is. Enjoy!

After the video of Deegans bike expiring and him showing his emotions and in the background a person yelling he’s a baby like everyone shows their emotions of stuff like that because of how hard they put in the work. And I get that the other side of the story but he’s showed how much he is learning and he is putting that to use and putting that work in to try to go for the title. And I get people say that he’s used his dad money but if you think about it Vohland’s dad raced as well and all Vohland did was getting information and tips from his dad and using that to his advantage and that is the same for Deegan. I understand the hate but you got to respect Deegan for bringing the championship closer and making it interesting. A Hunter and Deegan showdown at the last round would have been really interesting and fun to watch

    • @misaelgamin1098

And I understand the fact that Deegan got lucky of Hunters two DNF’s and Cooper’s two DNS’s and that is apart of racing. And I understand that he’s got to learn that and I understand that he got the same fate and got “karma” but he’s putting in the effort to take advantage of that and that can happen to anyone

Kid, you're like 12. No offense, but once you get older, you'll understand why Haiden Deegan is not only an annoyance, but a douchebag at heart. It's not hard to care about a sport, and still be good at putting on a face for the camera, especially when you're born into the family he has. Calm down, the man didn't say anything bad about Haiden at all anyways.
It's okay to be a fan of someone in a sport, but sometimes it's okay to look a litter bit deeper than "they're good"
Furthermore, what is with all this talk about how "hard of a worker" Haiden Deegan is??? Of course he practices. There is no proof that Haiden "puts in the work" more so than any other rider out there, aside from vlogs and "I said so". He's at the top because he was born into a famous and skilled riding family who gave him all of the necessary resources from day 1 to become successful when putting in the hard work, which many riders don't get the opportunity for because they aren't born into the Deegan family.
This is all just facts, get red in the face or not, it makes no difference to reality ;).

The truth is deegan is way way way too overhyped right now. He’s a solid 3rd to 7th avg finish guy who can go and win a couple motos here and there. He was never a real contender for the championship so the hissy fit was very excessive.

The playoffs are a perfect opportunity to move the triple crowns out of SX and put it in the playoffs. That would make the format feel better. And then they can call it the Triple Crown instead of playoffs because playoffs in motorsports doesn't seem right haha

I love Jett and have been a fan of him since that rookie race in A2 when he went all out for the win. I always knew Jett would be great, but man I have to say that Jett has the best chance to break McGrath's record for supercross wins! That is an insane number to even begin to think about too, but how can you not at least entertain the idea? He's barely 20 years old with plenty of time to do it and plenty of talent to do it. Probably the most realistic opportunity to do it since JS7 moved up imo

    • @bobbygilbert6955
      @bobbygilbert6955 10 месяцев назад

He would have to win a minimum of 7 races a year for 10 years and then win 3 more yr 11 to get 73! It ain't happening especially when you look at his brother being in the class the add deegan, forkner, shimoda, Hampshire, kitchen when they hit 450s he won't be able too do it, that's also not getting hurt and missing any races for 11 seasons (no top rider has ever done that)

@@tymuglia1128 doesn't matter that Webb will be on a new bike look what he did when he switched to KTM championship first year on team! Barcia will be 100% for the playoffs and yeah Ando hasn't done anything this year like we all expected him to after last years performance but he can still jump in there and get a random win. But jett hasn't raced SX on a 450 at all (playoffs aren't pure SX) so he will legitimately have only the Paris SX before A1 unless he also does a SX in Australia in off season, and tomac will come out hungry and aggressive and ready so with his experience over Jetty I'd bet on tomac!

@@tymuglia1128 he has shown he can win SX on a 250 for sure but look at the list of those who won multiple 250 SX champs and struggled first year in big bike SX, RC is top of that list, as is Stewart and tomac. So no he hasn't shown me that he can win as easy or as much in SX on 450. I agree he is a great starter but SX has shorter start straights so he won't pull out front as far as he does outdoors out the gate, and he won't be able to just pin it and run like he does outdoors, he has sx skills but as a 20 yr old rookie I can't see him just continuing like it is when A1 comes around. If he makes the whole year and doesn't get himself hurt, wins some races, contends for championship the great but then he'll have to do it again the next year and again the next year and I just don't see him having the same dominance as he did 250 or even this 450 outdoor season

I know the Lawrences didn’t have everything handed to them growing up but to say they didn’t have food on the table is just plain dumb and so dramatic. If you can afford to race dirt bikes and go to races, there is absolutely no way that you can not afford some form of food. It was corny to say that at best.

His dad and both brothers have talked about they always ate good but mom n dad would eat sandwiches bc they couldn't afford the racing and bills so they sacrificed what they had to make sure the boys had what they needed.
Also go back and watch James Stewart talk about how his mom and dad picked up cans to recycle and would eat sandwiches so James could race and eat healthy, they would skip bills sometimes just to take him racing....my personal experience racing coming up my dad would scrap metal and do any side jobs he could so we could go to my races, one year he sold his house to fund the race season. Villopotto is another with a similar story

I dont necessarily say i dont like jett, but the one thing is that people praise jett is for an undefeated season on a depleated field. Jett has not actually shown what he can do, because going from supercross straight over to motocross is draining. And not a lot of riders are not 100% due to injury. Untill jett can go undefeated on a full pack, then ill have more constructive criticism. I feel like haiden has no room to throw what he did, shit happens. I know being deep in the points lead and if haiden wouldve won unadilla, then yeah he wouldve had points lead. But it happens to the best of them. Haiden is a rookie l, hes still young and yeah receiving a tittle in his rookie season would've rocked. But he's still a rookie and throwing that act the way he did was kinda unnecessary. No disrespect to the kid cuz i grew watching their channel. Even tho he did throw that act, people still need to give haiden credit for how well he's actually done. Actually being a tittle threat for hunter. It sucks but, you still got the next how many years haiden wants to race.

The thing is, we’re not missing anyone that could even challenge Jett aside from maybe ET. I’m not a Jett fan in the slightest, but this is an awful argument because we’re not missing any top people at the moment that could remotely come close, everyone that could win a race last year pretty much is there outside of Kenny, ET, and a healthy Barcia, but Kenny chose to sit out this series and there’s no telling if ET would be beating Jett right now either with a brand new bike that has no development, similar to how DF14 is not doing well on said bike.

It's funny how many people decide to hate fans of people who are at the top just because they can't stand being aligned with others' opinions. It's not "cool" to insult fans of someone in a professional sport due to them being very good at that sport, it's called having respect for skill within the sport. The concept is really not rocket science whatsoever.
