  • I take the old saying “I can beat you with one arm tied behind my back” a bit too literally in this episode of Pro Vs Am, where I race Cam with just one arm! Who will win the lap time battle? The amateur using both hands, or the pro using only one hand?

      Yeah ... I couldn't tell if there was much difference in the straights, but Cam was clearly slower in the turns ... that's to be expected, Pro vs Am, under normal conditions, but interesting to see it's still true even one-handed.

The engine internals are coaster with the same stuff as the heat shields on the space shuttle. Bike could go with no coolant and no oil for several laps before it blows up. They allow you to be lazier on most tracks. By lazier I mean you can lug 3rd gear and blip the throttle later on the 450 and still clear jumps. 250fs you have to a lot smoother in corners and hit your shifts to clear a lot of bigger tables and doubles.

    @jasonschwartz9481 3 года назад

    So, yeah lol. Honest question because that ride on the 450 seemed sooo smooth. I'm in my early 40's and grew up racing 2 strokes. I quit riding by the time I was 20, but back in 2015 decided to pick it up again with my sons. I got a an RMZ 250, that I eventually destroyed as I also got life flighted from a track 🤣🤣🤣 (wasn't the first time)...anyway, I've been hesitant to buy a 450 because, in western PA, a lot of the tracks seem too small for that power.
    Just wondering if anyone else is semi local and rides a 450...your thoughts on that vs a 250.

    • @TheShift1313
      @TheShift1313 3 года назад +1

      Ktm 350. The 250s are easier to ride faster but you are revved out. The 450 you can lug around but can get in over your head quickly. Much less so than a 250 two stroke though:)
