- Hey everyone back with more Scrap Mechanic Survival! Today @darealkosmo and I are completing a warehouse in order to unlock chapter 2! Which chapter 2 will be first is the most important question...

I have experimented with dev mode, the cranes do move if you access the electric engines and insert batteries. The thing is you have to take apart the top covers.
They have been since the beginning. I know this was also one of the first things I checked out after figuring out devmode. And the encryptors say to connect them to power in their tooltip in the unlimited inventory

In those office rooms, each drawer in each filing cabinet has items, I got a good 20 or so component kits from that alone! They also spawn glue and loads of paint

@@carsonfranklin4633 how would you differentiate between bots and rocks or trees, it would have to be so big, complicated and resource expensive that it couldn't possibly for itself and would probably be a big waste of time
@@Jamesdavey358 if he is talking about a moving one, for the scrap metal rods part just put some saws next to resource collector and a refinery with chest on a vehicle, then turn it into a vehicle
About the drops part, just use vacuum pumps and pipes to suck the loot

You can loot those filing cabinets. Atleast according to the code there is a loot table for Office_Filecabinet. The loot table is similar to a green warehouse lootbox

Damn I didn't know that we can blow up the wall on the bottom of storage room. I was push my farmer up thru the stairs, even build some contraption lift to bring the farmer out looool
Anyway, can't wait for more episodes
it would be sweet if regular farmers from around the world just became npcs who hang around the area, maybe in small huts, but you had special farmers with unique looks in warehouses that acted as shops with more stuff in them.
like a miner who could sell tiers of metal blocks, drills of different kinds, pickaxes of different kinds.
a weapons dealer who sells the shot gun, spudling gun, and mountable gun as well as some other weapons and ammo types.
etc
The warehouse filing cabinets have stuff in them in raft mechanic. Sometimes it's junk, sometimes it's goodies.
@kan you can just press the top right button in the death bag to take all the items at ones.

You missed all the loot in the fileing cabinets they updated stuff
If you want to get a lot of paint, search trough office lockers. I got half a chest of paint out of one 4 story warehouse using this method. (remeber that the game couns every segment of a locker individually)

the fertilizer is a good deal because you have a planter on your boat that needs 1 fertilizer for 2 crops.

These 80 coop episodes are probably one of my favorites on youtube, i truly enjoyed them all and i am a bit sad at the same time that it ends here. Awesome experience thanks alot guys, you made many of my days ❤

ok you guys need to make a basic flat deck car, engine, seat, 4 wheels, no suspension even needed
Suggestion: Rebuild the tank you had in S1 of SM Survival Co-Op. You might be able to use the WASD converter for a more effective harpoon or spud gun turret. This would allow you to defeat the warehouses more effectively. Furthermore, you can have a parking spot on the bottom deck of the ship for the mini-tank, which would allow you to have a retractable ramp and bridge on the side of the ship for loading/unloading onto islands. This would also allow you to park somewhat away from the island, which will reduce how long it takes to escape from an island (as seen with the Farmbot near-catastrophe in the previous episode). Alternatively, you could have a landing craft-style ramp on the front of the ship which lets you drive from the bottom deck which could be set aside as hangar space and space for fruit crates by simply placing a layer of blocks on top of the buoyant Raft-style plates. This would allow you to have the lower deck as storage space for loading/unloading vehicles and holding crates, while still having the collection nets at the front since they are still at the water level. Since the vehicles would have the extra floor layer to protect from the Sharkbots, it wouldn't be a risk to their safety, while allowing easier loading/unloading than if the vehicles were stored on the second deck, with what is currently on the second deck being moved to a third deck. Also, you should definitely try to make the ship into a helicarrier (like the SHIELD helicarrier in the MCU, but with whatever design you guys have in mind).

I'm quite sure you can actually pick up the bananas in warehouses... You press I think E, instead of using your mouse. I've eaten them from lying around before.
The gantry cranes don't work because they're missing batteries. It probably was a mistake as it was most likely built in creative by the devs. Same goes for the vent entry points, the fans on them should rotate but because they're missing batteries they don't.
It would be fun if you guys made survival server with moonbo and scrapman too

0:55 if you craft the Big field you can plant 2 plants and only use 1 fertilizer so its use 5 and you get 10. (add on) when you do crops on the Fields no rades happen.

I actually know how you get to the elevator to go to the next floor you are on the floor to the next elevator once you emerge from said elevator keep your path as straight as possible it'll make it easier and you won't be running around the warehouse left and right and also on the top war the loot room is literally like a few inches off from the elevator so yeah
Did you know that you can use punctuation in a sentence? They come in many shapes and forms (,;:!?) that way it's not just a rambling of words; in fact it gives the reader a chance to pause for breath. Try reading your post again and only pause for breath at a punctuation mark; I almost passed out trying it

the hard part for me was finishing the warehouse and getting back to the ground. i landed on a farmbot... why was he under the 2 story D:

0:50 bro its 1 beet for 10 fertilizer, if you use that 10 fertilizer on 10 beets you now can have 100 fertilizer

Why would you fertilize any low-value crop? Now, growing beets to fertilize broccoli might be worth it.
Is it though? I initially thought that too, growing beets to get fertilizer for the better crops. But then thinking about it, you would use the fertilizer to drop a 2 day growth to 1 day, right? But then you'd need to spend 1 day growing the beets to get the fertilizer. So basically, you spend 1 day growing beets, then time going to trade and then 1 day growing, say, broccoli or you just spend 2 days growing broccoli. It is the same except you save the time of going to a packing station. You still have 2 raids to deal with. The only benefit in the Raft mod is growing on some random island and timing it perfectly to just abandon dealing with the raids, which you could in theory do with the fertilizer method. But if you are well armed, you are missing out on potential circuits and component kits.
