That road is Velefique - a classic of the area (Almeria), which has many superb roads in the mountains (avoid the oft trodden path of Roquetas etc...). I live in Valencia & sometimes go down there to play. The Mediterranian area is not too visited by UK bikers as it is a bit of a hike - but believe me, it's worth it - you could spend WEEKS exploring the roads of Cataluña, Valencia, Murcia, Almeria, Granada ..........By the way - nice vid!
some nice roads doing north spain in June but might have to trip down there sometime as roads look amazing great video and on an amazing bike got one too 😀
This year i am doing a trip north of Spain more towards the French border then Alps in August. Yeah i have seen your channel and subscribed to it. Don't think i will ever replace this bike it is such a fun bike to ride.
It would be interesting if you included a route map so we can see exactly what roads you took. Nice thing about traveling in Spain is the roads are almost always empty.
My route was inspired by ride magazine, ANDALUSIA HIGH-MILE TOUR - www.ride.co.uk/routes-content/spain-and-portugal-total-touring but i kept changing so no set route i am afraid.
Gettin’ meself a NEW bike (after a 35yr riding gap) & persuading lil’ bruv (he’s 56) to take a road trip from Essex to Malaga next Spring … it’s a ‘bucket list’ thing & the “Route 66 on a Harley” didn’t seem that appealing anymore. Anyway this vid, AND some of the comments I’ve just read, contain probably the most INVALUABLE all-round info one could want. ✌️🖖
For routes i used ride magazine, i had a route in mind for each day but i kept making changes depending on how i felt each day. Nothing was pre booked other than ferry tickets where ever i use to end up before dark i use to book any hotel i could find using booking.com app. Didn't had a problem finding places to stay the night.

Planning similar trip in July …
What did you use for route planing and navigation?
Did you prebook accommodation?
For routes i used ride magazine, i had a route in mind for each day but i kept making changes depending on how i felt each day. For navigation i used google maps on my phone.
Also, what camera you using ?
Gopro hero 10 will invest in a nd filter for next trip as with the filter picture quality is much better.
Not too many petrol stations by the looks of things
I always filled up when I was left with half tank didn’t had problems finding petrol station plenty of respol petrol they are everywhere in Spain
@no2rides115 thanks and great vids
