Having taken one year to read the first book in Thai of Si Paen Din I much appreciated this documentary. In Bangkok I have visited the entrance where Ploy would enter the Inner Court on the river side of the Palace area but the security guards were suspicious of me and weren't keen on me taking photos. I loved the characters of Ploy and Choi and found the story full of cultural insights.The second book covering the 2nd 2 reigns I have only read in an English translation and I found very relevant to the present day circumstances . Look forward to the next episode of Spirit of Asia. Read the Thai version in Sydney during COVID lockdown.
