- For a RUclips video that shows the challenging process of pumping concrete to a second-story balcony, a descriptive and engaging title could be crucial.
Join us on a construction adventure where we tackle one of the most challenging tasks in the building industry - pumping concrete to a second-story balcony in an extremely tight spot. This video showcases the skillful maneuvering of a concrete boom pump as our team navigates narrow spaces, obstacles, and height restrictions to successfully place concrete where it's needed most. Witness the combination of technology, experience, and precision engineering that makes it possible to overcome the odds and ensure the structural integrity and progress of our construction project. Whether you're a professional in the industry or just fascinated by the magic of construction, this video is a must-watch for anyone interested in the art of problem-solving and innovation on the job site.
Nothing is ever easy, pumping concrete. Tough times make good operators.
Bills pretty dadgum good. I think it’s because he has patience
Hey Jeff it's good to see you back on here I'm glad to see that you guys didn't get burned out by that fire that burned a lot of people out there I'm glad you guys are all right and I hope everybody else survived it and is doing well take care of yourselves and keep on pumping
👍
great video bill seems calm and in new swag looking forward to next week in Ohio
Can't wait!
Thank you for another great video. Cheers
Thanks for watching!
Great job slipp'N it in there Bill!!! Would have been the perfect job for a 5 section double-Z configuration (don't let my good buddy Dann hear that I said that) 🤣🤣🤣
Oh man that job screams 5 section RZ.
@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping pains me to admit, but I feel like the ZZ-fold would reign supreme in this scenario.
@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping surprised we haven’t heard from Dann on this one yet 😂😂😂
@@canadianconcretepumper1979 Wouldn't just backing up so he would've been flat out at the end of the pour worked better? It seems like he could have had enough height to keep the hose off the ground until the last little bit that way.
I tried those hose nozzles for a couple jobs, I didn't like them because you can't pull the trigger all the way and get less pressure and more volume.
Love the video, great job Bill. A 5 section zz would have made you look like an absolute hero on a job like that 😊
Thanks Bill
Thanks Terry
Also: what's that contraption affixed to the end of your water hose nozzle?
It’s a little straight bore tip that screws on to the end of the nozzle. It’s really powerful. I’m not sure where Bill finds them.
That is SO cool.
Looked like a neat place
Damn bill by the time that mud gets to you on that job that much our way hot after leaving the concrete plant wow
Nice work
Thanks for watching! Appreciate ya
You need a Z boom they can do than a roll fold good job
Yes they are very versatile machines
Patience is a virtue....... Bill has it by the shed full 😁
I have a couple of suggestions if you have a similar job again.....
First, use a length of rope to guide the hose into the floor, and second, could you get a blank cap to go on the end of the hose when removing the hose, this would stop any spillages until the hose is at ground level..... 🤔
Or we could get a conforms air cuff for the hose. That would be nice.
Howdy muddy feet
Good Evening Tugboat!
Did I here that right , circleulate over a hour + wouldn't it have been better to clean the pump ??
With these cool temperatures the mud wouldn’t get that hot.
Looks like ya could take a break from greasing that boom for a bit lol
More grease the less maintenance
@MuddyfeetConcretePumping correction, proper amount of grease less maintenance
Good video man just busting ya balls it's a nice pump sucks to see a greasy boom is all. I'm running the alliance double z boom take a look at that thing can do stuff like what you tackled pretty easy!
Pump on bro
Thanks brother, no problem! I’m actually in search of a hot water pressure sprayer to help clean those places. But. I’d rather clean grease than concrete. Stay safe
I don't understand why you lay the hose down and make the guys pull all that way. I thought the pump boom would make the job easier not harder.
I agree. I figured they would tie a rope to the end of the hose or use a hook to move the end side to side. To each their own I guess but that’s what I would have done. Oh and it’s the guys option on how they do things. It’s up to them not us.
Love me some Putz water pressure😂
I noticed that too! I need to talk to Bill about it. We usually have way more pressure
Oh and oh yeah by the way maybe you should take your wife to work with you and let her show you guys up on how she can run the pump better than all of you
👍
This video is how you lose subs.
Don’t let the door hit you where the good lord split you! Smell you later!!!
