This was just a quick, easy change. I've had several folks comment on the whine and it's normal for the K&N. I thought that was weird because it can be confused with a timing chain whine. There isn't a ton of HP gain with an intake, but I have checked out AWE. Theirs looks pretty cool. I prefer the Mishimoto or Injen Intakes for the sound, but have definitely checked out AWE, as all their products are ON POINT! I am possibly looking at doing an AWE midpipe and axleback, but I'm torn because of price. Downpipe is next though after I save the coin!

sounds like there is a high whine now with the K&N filter. Have you looked at the AWE CAI?

also check out the spring booster. i'm very happy with it in my F36. you can feel the extra boost

Haha yes, this is when I had the gauge hijack using JB4. The gas gauge serves as a boost gauge

Bilal Ahmed , I actually had my mechanic check into that lately, as I've paid more attention to the motor. Nah, timing chain is good!

scott nagle nah. Very minor. You can hear the intake a little bit more, but that's about it. Gains or gas mileage are nominal
