Vermilion is such a beautiful song. it's my favourite track on this album. People please give it lots of love too, i feel like it's becoming the next THE ROAD from her previous album which is also my favorite track from Like Water.
I don't like The Road, but I absolutely love Vermillion!! Maybe it's less heard because it's the last song of the album, people quit before listening to the whole thingy? (on youtube music the least heard song is Best Ever... but the 4 last bsides have almost the same number of views)
I always say Wendy has added more voices to her vocal repertoire, and even she admits that her tone changed after the musical! I'm always amazed by how versatile she is!

Damn, the input Wendy has on HCIY is amazing ! She rightfully wanted to re-record the song even though she already recorded it in 2023, but yeah her musical actress phase had a big impact on her tone and vocal technique !
