This is one of the most loving interpretations of the piece I have ever heard. No matter an artist's medium, one must pour one's heart and soul into their art to move their audience. I was deeply moved by your performance. I wish I had discovered your channel earlier. Thank you for sharing your music, artistry and reminding me of this wonderful game too.

Heard so many versions of this, but I could safely say yours is one of the best one out there. It maybe a personal preference but I like the tempo of your version. And as with every other fan of this, It's an emotional masterpiece, always makes a tear drop for no apparent reason. All the best to you Sir.

Really lovely - well done. I have the same sheet music and am struggling on the asynchronous rhythm on middle of page 3 to page 4. This gives me some hope! What beautiful playing of a beautiful piece! I love the Final Fantasy piano collections and this is one of my favorite pieces though I've been struggling to play everything after starting from 2:50 where the left and right hands are playing different syncopated notes. Do you have any advice? Thanks a lot!
Those are polyrhythms, where 2 notes are played in one hand against 3 notes in the other hand. I'd practice tapping out the rhythms. It's not too hard 2v3 because you can divide it into 6 equal subbeats. If I remember correctly there might also be 3v4 in the piece. You can Google polyrhythms for more info.

Hamaguchi was such an incredible interpreter of Uematsu's work. It's a shame he didn't get to work on FF7R. They still did a pretty good job.

@@rach3master I think you make a small mistake at 1:35 : you play F#, C#, F#, A, F#, C# instead of F#, C#, A, F#, C#, F# (which is on the official sheet music and audio) ;)

i can do the run starting at 3:15 but I'm having so much trouble playing the left hand at the same time for those 2 bars, it's the only bit i can't play yet it's so frustrating >.
Keep practicing! I think is polyrythm and its hard at the begining, you can do it!! I played it a couple years ago and it was hard to me that part too, but I made it whit practice 😇

Sounds good.For me it would be hard to play this since probably I would fall asleep while reading every 4 bars;-))).So that would make things very hard.Anyway you have some great piano music on your channel and your playing is very in style.Sorry that i don't really ''dig''this particular style.Not my cup of tea.It's about composition ,not your playing.
