I am soooo caught up in your superb technique at the keyboard, I just hope that in my next life I can have a 10th of your skills and emotional espressivness when I rediscover the piano and all its majesty. Your playing takes my breath away and a tear to my eyes with such wonder of your talent. "Thank you for sharing your musical 'you' with the world!
This is very nostalgic. I wish in the remake part 2 or 3, the player can play the piano in a random restaurant or at Tifa's house, or that Grand Piano in Shinra's Mansion. 😍
It's mind boggling there isn't a final fantasy de jazz anthology or special release published yet, they did a music box years ago, and there's the great out of print ff 4hands , but no jazzo, we got mario de jazz (and eventually licensed to Alfred for NA market release ) but dang there's so much material to do this with in the existing ost and arranged output I keep hoping makoto ozone or someone will get tapped or see fit to pull the trigger and get book of these out there
I don’t remember this tune at all from FF7. But then again, it’s been so many years since I played that game that I don’t think I’d remember any tune from the game. This is a very nice transcription from Zorsy’ version. How do you go about transcribing? Do you use softwares to capture the overall the framework first? I’m curious for my learning. Thank you, as always for sharing. PS I gather you like Nier very much - TGS just announced a remake of Nier, called Replicant in case you are interested.
Transcribing is very tedious for me. I use Transcribe! to slow down the music (playing at 15% of original speed if necessary) and figure out the piece measure by measure. Sometimes if I'm really stuck I might use automatic transcribing software to get a better clue of the harmonies. Other times I'll just give up and hire someone else to do it for me :)
@@rach3master I can't dictate for the life of me... 😅 On second thought, I'm probably better off leaving it to softwares and professionals after hearing your process. How are you liking it replaying Ff7?
@@MH.Speedcrawler It's pretty good. I have some question marks about the story changes and the filler sidequests, but the rest has been very enjoyable.
@@rach3master They changed the story? Wow... Interesting. I wonder how the changes are received by fans. Will you share with me your thoughts after you finish the game?
This is nice, good to see a new video. I often transcribe some music to sheet for myself to play, but I do not know what software to use, any recommend? I currently use pencil and paper, which is a bit tedious.
Thanks. You can use Transcribe! to slow down the music. If you're willing to learn notation software, you can try using something like Musescore, which is free.
Hi rach3, wonder if you use a sound card for recording? If it’s possible, could you elaborate on your recording setup? Your audio is always top quality and I’m curious to know what’s behind it. I don’t think having a good, expensive VST such as the CFX is enough - otherwise you can just play on a cheap digital piano and feed the Midi to it and tweak around. Thanks in advance
Ahhhh this is so awesome!!! Thank you for transcribing this you played so beautifully ❤️

One of my favorite piece from the original game, and I especially like how Hamauzu arranged it for the remake. Beautiful performance

Very beautiful cover 💕 :)
I wish I knew how to even begin trying to transcribe/improvise like this myself. It seems like an impossible skill

I use a babyface pro soundcard to help with latency. Otherwise it should sound the same no matter which piano you're using.
Loooovely
N1 or Nv10 key is heavy you are play both piano ?
N1 keys are a bit heavier in my opinion.
