Let me tell you what I'm doing with the *Smooth DK* yarn. Like you, I liked the feel of it but didn't quite know how to use it since it's so thin.
Well, I had some alpaca-looking yarn called *44th Street* (discontinued) which tangles easily if you try to unravel it. When you pair the thin DK yarn with
the furry yarn, you get a sumptuous feeling combo which is easier to handle. I made quick work of a triangle shawl using V-stitch. The shawl
is so soft and lightweight.... perfect for slight S Florida chilly interiors (cuz we shole' don't have any Winters here 😀 ).
Ooh that's a nice combo, that has to feel amazing. I LOVED 44th Street and I was so so sad they got rid of it. I was actually in Florida when my HB had it's clearance sale and I missed most of the deals. So I was really heartbroken. But there are other yarns to love 💕

Loving that granny hexagon cardi. ♥ Girl, and I got a slew of that *Yarntopia* in Scarlet. I crocheted a ripple-patterned swim coverup and then frogged
it 'cuz I didn't like the way it hung. I should have used a drapier yarn like *Spinesse* from Hobby Lobby. Go check out that *Spinesse* yarn. It's yummy! ♥♥♥
I have a few skeins of Spinesse in my stash, I love it. I have worked with it, but haven't completed any projects with it. But it's gorgeous. It would be beautiful worked up in a knit top I think, or even a crocheted top. I love the slight sparkle to it. And the problem I find with Yarntopia is that it sheds fuzzies all over the place. I was wearing it with black, and that's not smart. So I gotta find a yarn that has the same look but not so much sheddind.

(pausing video...) That sportweight size of *I Love This Yarn* is not new but it's usually on a bottom shelf or something. Guess 'cuz it's cheaper it doesn't
command the **eye level** shelf location. 🤔
Oh wow, that's probably why I never noticed it. I wonder if it's just my Hobby Lobby...they are a little behind the times every now and then.
You and that Aubergine 🍆 😂😂😂 I got some of the Sleek DK this summer. It's not fingering weight. It's a light DK, for sure. I haven't used it yet, though
Oh thank you! Sometimes those lighter yarns all run together in my mind lol. To be honest, that Soft and Sleek feels about the same size as the Blue Sky Fibers yarn, which is considered fingering, no official testing done though. So it's confusing! But I hope I enjoy working with all of them 😜.
Hi Deja, I love you, you are a beautiful lady with a happy and sparkling nature! I have only seen a handful of your videos, but I am on the fence about subscribing because you use an annoying filter that casts a grey shadow on anything that moves fast on your recording - why are you using it? You don't need to put a filter on you because you are absolutely gorgeous and your stitch work is fantastic! That filter makes me think that we are not seeing the true colors and definition of whatever yarn you put in front of the camera. I want to subscribe to your channel, truly I do - but I think that I have been waiting until you no longer use this annoying filter because I do want to see authentic colors of the yarn and your work. Thanks for what you put in your channel so far.
Hello Eleanor, thank you very much for voicing your reservations. I don't use any filters, anything that is showing up is just the camera's natural way of doing things. I do use a couple of ring lights and perhaps there are shadows from those, I wish I understood exactly what you're seeing so that I can adjust it. I also think my camera does a natural thing where it adjusts the exposure based on the colors on the screen, but I don't know how to turn that off. Nonetheless, I'm really glad that you watch my videos anyway. Thank you for being here.
