Dana has given more credit to a contender series winner than he did when Strickland made history
Dana is such a lier is insane dude post ufc 293 literally said 100% rematch, now after all the backlash he goes to say there is a lot of options, he literally makes shit up😂 and saying reason for izzy loss is because he was slow and sean knew it is insane literally making exuses for izzy when everyone knows that sean was the better striker, this is what being the biggest attraction to ufc does for you they will back you up even by making up excuses
@@Sahil-ru5zp I dont personaly like it. But Sean is about to get money for the company while Izzy bring alot. So ofcourse it works that way.
Or Nba big market teams VS small

Do you really Dana to tell you who to respect lol chose yourself.
Dumb comment. Also incorrect. Grow up.
Dana never said rematch for sure. You are living in your own head. Also, liar not lier.

I'm shocked that Dana being such a great promoter doesn't mention Strickland's story more. He went from struggling at 170 pounds to having a motorcycle accident that almost cost him his life, to the the UFC MW Champ. The true everyday people's champ!
Its been like 3 days give it chance to settle in..
It's hard to focus on the story when Sean only sh*ts whenever he opens his mouth!

Because Dana didn’t want Sean to win
I BET 1000000000 THAT CRASH SAVED HIS LIFE.......................
Strickland winning the belt was memorable for a lot of us because he was a fighter a lot of us wanted to win but never thought he had a chance which made the win even bigger.

@@handsomefatboyI'm not a Sean fan but it spoke volumes to us all. His role in life is why we didn't think he could win. Izzy being a kick boxer didn't help us see otherwise either. Dana: This kid is not a kid, he’s 31 years old
Dana 20 seconds later: We’ll definitely look at this kid, he’s a kid you’d definitely bring in

It was kind of like his brain short-circuited when he acknowledged that he's not a kid, and had to do a hard reset by calling him a kid 14 times in 20 seconds.
Dana called his grandpa kid
Everyone's a kid to Slappy White
lol
Dana was pushing for a rematch. He said "I think you do the rematch" multiple times and made up multiple excuses for Israel losing. He took away almost everything from Sean Strickland's performance that night and it was one of the worst post fight press performances from Dana since his infamous bashing of GSP. He again took away from Strickland's performances tonight. Izzy looked absolutely fine. He got dropped badly, lost round 1, took it well, got back up, had a good round 2, looked just as fast as usual and then got outclassed for 3 rounds. He looked tired because he got teeped in the body all night. He looked off because his stuff wasn't landing and he had no space to set up a jab and leg kick constantly all due to Strickland's great defence and constant pressure. Dana White has done this before to fighters and will do it again to fighters. The important thing is to call him out on it because he took a lot of backsteps tonight on the topic of an immediate rematch.
Are you going to cry???😢😢😢
You sir are exactly right

He’s getting love and support from a certain slice of the ufc community. The same slice that thinks that a funny joke is riffing on how Chinese people eat dog over and over again. Or some other wannabe racist garbage. Anyway, I know he’s got a good heart for the most part but so do a lot of people and they didn’t have to beat up their sparring partners or cross the line with their insults. To me Sean is that semi talented, not too smart, every man who puts on that tough guy shield, which resonates to the ordinary ufc fan that is not that sophisticated. Plus he provides that WWE crap that you guys love. The reason Dana is acting this way, is Izzy is a legend (Sean’s words) and Sean is not. Let’s see if he shocks the world again but you and I know that many middleweights can beat him and have. He’s done incredible things but not legendary things. His fans are going to try and protect him until the inevitable, which is the quick loss of that belt. I feel for you.
Most of us were already huge supporters of Sean before the fight. we all wanted him to win, and that's why it meant so much to us to see it. Sean has legit star power because he's tough as nails gets in guys faces in his fights and doesn't act like he's something special like all the other fighters, he's as humble a champ as we've ever had. Sean deserves all the praise he's getting. i hope the company see's it and gets behind it.
Nawwww he doesn't have star power. Now he's maybe popular with the backwards country side but I don't see him pulling up huge numbers as a champion. It's scummy af how dana tried to quickly turnaround top contender DDP coming off a win with an injury to take a 7 week prep title fight with adesanya. Needs to be called out more, and DDP doesn't deserve to be on the shit list for saying no. I respect his decision, and he deserves the next shot at the title.

Agreed. There will be some crossover of fanbases but unfortunately the two sports are so completely opposite. One is strictly entertainment and the other one is brutal destruction. If you look at the WWE fanbase, it's closer to a comic con fanbase then a fighting fanbase. Really excited to see what comes out of it but I do think that's a crazy statement to think you're going to have that big of a crossover in fandom between the two companies.
yeah, those wwe crowds are filled with 40 year old mommas boys and closeted gays

Agreed. I misspoke when I said the two sports. WWE is an entertainment company. There is only a small portion of the WWE audience that can look past the fantasy nature of the company. Me myself, I love the WWE. But I also know what the WWE is. Over the past 15 years, the WWE audience has dropped to an average age of below 20. The UFC is only going to be able to pull a small portion of those viewers over as they may see the UFC as brutal and dangerous. Now, if we're talkin about the WWE of old days during the Attitude Era, this statement would not be so bizarre.

My favourate part of izzy Vs sean wasn't the round 1 knockdown. It was the last 30 seconds round 5. My heart was pounding. I was just expecting Izzy to catch him and win.. still... But when Sean just postured at izzy, throwing his own hands down, calling izzy a Ch1na man and a pu*sy was probably the best moment i have ever witnessed in MMA. Not to mention, the moment the 5th bell rang. You know, izzy always goes on about feelings, or "energy". Even through the screen, you could tell izzy was like a lost little school boy who just go bullied for the first time. He was truly defeated.. meanwhile Sean just had this rush and he ended up looking away from izzy, knowing he beat him, and sean rose his hands and just ran... i also loved how sean just couldn't sit still, even in his own corner, even when the cut man was trying to help him. He was pacing. Eye on the prize.. Even when the result were read, and his speech, you could see it really did mean thr world to him, even tho he says it's not.
Only thing that could of made it better is if sean cried, coz you know he had a more difficult job holding back tears then beating izzy at his own game. lol

If you like MMA don't ever admit you like wwe , it's pathetic
@LobsterCucumber so I'm guessing you never watched a movie or tv show in your life? Idk why MMA fans have this weird superiority complex like they're better than wrestling fans because MMA is real fighting 💀💀💀
@@LobsterCucumber what's pathetic is that perspective/mindset😂😂

Sean was an underdog and Izzy was under a dog 🥁
The last question about kickboxing not being relevant , let’s see how Rodtang vs Superleks numbers actually do in less then 10 days (if it finally happens) . Glad ONE is paving the way for Muay Thai & kickboxing athletes
Izzy had 25 minutes to save himself. 🤷♂️ I think it speaks to Sean's time spent sparring hard and smart; the fact that Izzy didn't adjust. He was overwhelmed. The rematch is gonna be a barn burner guys. Lets gooooo!!!!!!
If you are so sure, then wouldn't you want Sean to fight izzy again and prove he can do it twice?
@@badm.dhe said the rematch is going to be a barn burner. Think the comment was clear no ?
I’m just speculating but I think Izzy will actually take some time off and try to regroup. Strickland will beat DDP next and then we will go from there.

You can tell Uncle Dana is NOT HAPPY AT ALL the Sean is the New Champ! Dana is trying to hide it and pretend he is happy for Sean! Behind Close doors I bet you 100% he is pissed at himself for letting Izzy convince him that he was going to beat Sean! The top brass of the UFC NEVER WANTED IZZY vs SEAN to happen! It was Izzy who gave Sean the chance because he thought this was going to be an easy fight for him! The rest is history! BTW we have to stick with Sean and continue to support him because Uncle Dana wants Sean out of the Championship status ASAP! For some reason the UFC has no plans for Sean Strickland as a Champ in their horizon! I hope eventually they can work it out!!!

Dana is afraid to compliment Sean. Normally he likes when people speak their minds, but not with Sean. The less respect Sean gets , the more people will tune in to listen to him. Sean deserved every single bit of where he is now.
Did you even watch this? Dana litterally complimented sean and mentioned how all his hard work and determination got him to where he is now. He also mentioned that when sean won the belt we seen a side to sean we haven't seen before.

23:50 the JRE interview with Strickland was a large eye opener for most of the world about Strickland. Turns out he is an intelligent guy AND a great fighter.
Izzy deserves rematch and I’d still be rooting for Strickland
No he doesn't. He's 1-2 in his last 3 fights and got his immediate rematch against Pereira rightfully so because he had multiple title defenses before the loss. Now he has no title defence before this loss and got 4-1'd and dropped badly in the first round. The fight wasn't even close.
DDP deserves the next match

Loved Danas reaction to the question about UFC fans.and wwe fans becoming the same.PRICELESS! I wonder how long until he gets asked about a Fighter and a Pro Wrestler match ?
14:47 would love to be a fly on the wall to hear what Dana and DC really said about Laura on that plane 😂😅
😏🤣
All I care about is khamzat winning at the next ppv then finally getting his title shot. I genuinely see him holding it by mid next year
Him vs Costa should be an amazing fucking fight
Dana can’t even fake happiness !
Combining a scripted wrestling show with an mma promotion is opening a huge can of worms for allegations into match-fixing.
Laura Sanko did an incredible job in the commentator chair - well done Laura! Such a great insight and knowledge - also has great banter with DC!
Guys Dana’s right, Adesanya did look slow out there. Specifically after Strickland dropped him and tried to take his head off with like 20+ shots. That would slow pretty much anybody down.
Jon jones vs Roman reign for the undisputed heavyweight champion
WWE fans are low IQ 😅
Wait, that's good idea! Jones know his way on the mic and actually have that 'evil' charm around him.. WWE could easily build his character and make it interesting
Sean called out the "Chinaman" an won the world title. Adesanaya threw loads of types of styles but was just out classed by Sean's march down defensive style.
I love how Dana White doesn’t care about money as much as he wants the sport to grow. He’s more of an advocate to this sport than a lot realize.
Nice work. I wish I was Dana’s kid
Don’t let this distract you from the fact mma guru focuses on other men more than his double chin
Dana doesn't look old at all, I mean his an older dude but not like old looking or anything. I do hope he continues to run the UFC forever, I grew up watching this guy, he is awesome.
This is a good post interview
Izzy has been the most active champ in UFC history. Say what you want about Izzy as a person. But you can’t deny he’s undoubtedly been a fantastic champion.
If you don’t agree you’re not an MMA fan. Period. You’re likely letting his polarising persona cloud your judgement on how great of a “fighter” he is.
Super active, takes on the best, wants to verse the best and often. Only other champ you can say that about is volkanovski. Every other champion are just Twitter warriors.
He deserves the rematch due to his body of work alone. And congrats to Sean. Phenomenal performance.
Couldn't have said it better. This is what people seem to forget, all I see is "ohh well he is 1-2 in his last 3" or "he got dominated for 5 rounds" ok and strickland didn't make it out of the first against Pereira. Doesn't mean that any given night he couldn't do the same to Alex, MMA is unpredictable and besides Izzy went through the whole division already.
Lol
Ya its the media it's kinda sad how it's the only angle being seen rn you see the same arguments everywhere , people hating on izzy just because he lost and might get the rematch like what?
Outclassed the guy that KO'd the guy that KO'd him
So open So honest, great
We did it! Sean Strickland is the very definition of alpha American badass. He fights, carries a gun, rides a motorcycle, and is totally against all the cancel culture PC BS. I can relate because I'm also a straight AF proud white alpha. People like us are such a rare breed nowadays. In a world full of soyboy vegans, it's refreshing to know that certified alpha lions such as myself and Sean still roam the earth as badass dudes. To us and those like us. Damn few.

Y’all are dumb for saying izzy doesn’t deserve rematch. What about his body of work the past 4-5 years makes you think he doesn’t deserve it? He lapped everybody in the division
He JUST got a rematch and didn’t defend this time. Strickland dog walked him for 4 rounds debatably 5. It wasn’t even close. Stop fanboying and holding up the division.
@@Ibanez527you're missing the point. Besides didn't your new champion get DESTROYED in 1 round by a guy who Izzy ko'd? Lmao
@@jeuce9304 Lol.. and Alex kod izzy as well? That doesn’t have anything to do with anything. That didn’t proved anything, that happened before he won the title bud. What point am I missing? His body of work granted him the rematch with Alex, now he lost again, with no title defenses.
@@Ibanez527 ok but ur acting like him losing takes away everything hes done for the ufc lmao. Just based off his dominance over the whole division gives him the right to a rematch. If he loses again then sure hell at that point he should probably retire.
@@jeuce9304 lol…. He already got a rematch due to his body of work. Then he started a new reign and lost without any defenses. You can’t just keep holding up the division because you want your favorite fighter to stay the champion.
