You make this look so smooth! Every time I approach the bank and bend down to do this my body just says "No". Any pointers on how to commit? I can do everything else in your Green Wave series. Just this one, putting my back hand behind me, is the only one that I am having trouble with.

Yeah this one's pretty tricky at first and I still struggle with this move. Falling back and twisting the other way feels weird at first. I think a good way to start would be by dropping your back hand to the ground really early, maybe even before hitting the bank. Kind of dragging it behind you while getting super close to the ground, and focus on getting the weight distribution right. And then gradually dropping the hand later.
Also, a steep bank is actually easier, it makes the board stick to your feet.
Good luck - and thanks for watching!

...one more thing: Sometimes it's easier to approach the bank a bit less vertical, like doing a not so sharp 'bottom-turn' into this move, instead of going straight up the bank.

@@VindenVBG Really appreciate that! I got closer last night and I think it was because I did the earlier back hand drop. Will try taking a more angled approach and see how it goes.
