He’s so fun but man his ult is easily the worst in the game and kinda ruins the fun for me since it’s pretty much only a mobility tool with irrelevant dmg and slow
I play with a friend similar and we have a storm player and i primarily melee/dive tank. I think he’s consistently strong in a comp consisting of: thor, storm, fantastic +1 of either shield tank and 2 supports w defensive ults It takes a lot but situationally strong is way above what other players assume (f-tier)
Yeah I have a sneaking feeling fantastic is way better than they're giving him credit. Personally I think he plays well and was designed for 1-3-2 comps since he can pseudo tank and dps plus peel
Mr Fantastic does have a small tech that I haven’t seen many ppl use. Any ability you use when you reach 100 elasticity takes priority over the transformation. So if you have an Invisible Woman in your team, you can press C to gain the dmg reduction and HoT, then transform. Combining those with your ult (which gives you cc immunity) makes you practically unkillable in it.
Or press shift when the enemy pushes in, take enough damage to slap someone with 180 damage, then immediately transform and slap-kill them with your passive because you were already at 100. Hmm, that sounds pretty decent..
The best Mr Fantastic I had so far was in a game we had only me as tank and he played as an off tank of sorts, cleaving in the frontline to get ult charge and peeling for the healers, he is weirdly maneuverable with two charges of his little dash-hook thingy. BP tried to dive the healers he shielded them and helped kill the BP, then he charged back to the frontline and gave me a shield so we could keep fighting, it saved me a couple of times in that game and he did a lot of damage. Idk, weird character.
My tips for playing this character: - You can play with your tank giving them shield and brawling together - Quit big form (press f) when you don't have shields. Without them you are just big target with limited range and no abilities. - Use shift to survive - Ult after you get shields from big form so you are harder to kill in ult - In the ult itself, make sure to hit 3 jump if you want to continue
I'd say other than his ult his kit is pretty fantastic. I feel like the fact he's a duelist-vanguard hybrid can make certain team comps work without relying on a second vanguard to do so.
Might be a hot take but I'm predicting Mr. Fantastic will become the new Wolverine. Everyone will say he's trash for the first few weeks but he just has a specific way he should be played that really bisted.
The thing with wolverine is people didn't know he had max ho based damage, that's a huge deal and you can't find that information in the actual game. Mr fantastic doesn't have a game changer aspect like that, even though I agree people will figure out how to get more value out of him eventually, as always happens with new heroes
@@Pepe-pq3om yea wolverine has a pretty powerful niche of killing tanks and even his grab is an insane tool to single out targets. mr fantastic is incredibly tanky, i usually will get damage blocked numbers close to or even surpassing most tanks, the only exceptions usually being groot and strange. sometimes magneto. his transformation can actually dish out tons of damage and even cleaves teams that group up. hes also surprisingly good with dive, able to shield his dps divers (wolverine, BP, magik). and supports. 75 hp to himself and teammates is… pretty damn strong. it also on a low cd and requires no aim. it really is kinda like brig pack. charges his passive. just an all around good ability, i would honestly say its pretty worthless to hit enemies with (only 30 damage). thats a 100 damage swing compared to the 150 hp for his team. theres also some techs people haven’t figured out, like using block to delay his passive. or effectively using cds so you always have passive up. its not uncommon for me to get my passive 3 times in a teamfight. in go right into, have it end, then immediately use it again as long as the teamfight is ongoing.
@Pepe-pq3om Yes he does. Near 100% accuracy because of his lingering hitboxes, and he's damn near unkillable if you cycle his cooldowns correctly and play near your supports.
@@Pepe-pq3omhis teamup heals him and gives him damage reduction based off his missing HP that combined with the fact his shields counter all forms of HP% damage and his ult slows enemies (which makes it good for combos) will probably move him up in power soon if I had to guess. @@Pepe-pq3om People did know Wolverine had percentage damage, they just didn’t figure out the dashing behind enemy lines then kidnapping the tanks with lunge play style. I think Reed has the scarlet witch problem. At a low level he can be a menace and wear down an enemy team that doesn’t have great aim or coordination, but at a high level he’s just kinda there. Both also have ults that are getting basically zero value at a high level for slightly different reasons but same outcome. If you buff these 2 in damage or health though they just ruin the game for the majority of the player base where there’s little to no team coordination and these characters can run wild.

You have to be a big brain Mr fantastic player to see where your team is lacking in that immediate moment and you can kick in and help fix that issue. Say you have an issue with your divers (if you have any) and they are not doing well, well you can help. Or if you need a diver he can be a decent one (not the best but decent by using his E ability to get close to people). He can peel too assuming you have a main tank for divers in the back harassing your healers pretty decently too (namor ofc for instance is way better but reed can be decent.) He can just deal decent damage to multiple people stacked up with his primary and help destroy Loki clones stacked up too Ofc I feel his ult in theory ought to be stronger and if they buff later I ain’t complaining but I think it’s balanced the way it is rn. He literally does more damage to a 250 health person than hulk (takes hulk 7 punches takes reed 5 and hulk slap factored in is still 6 punches whereas reed with his other abilities factored in is 4 punches which is crazy good!) Mr fantastic isn’t an off tank off rip. He’s a flex tank (idk if this is an official term or anything but it suits him). He can be a diver if his teams divers aren’t diving good and he can be a support to the primary tank (ideally groot magneto or strange) by boosting them with armor and then using that to get to 100 charge to go hulk form for 6 seconds. Once people play him right, he’ll be super useful for literally any comp as a secondary tank. Flex tank. Not pure off tank like a venom or hulk etc.
I’ve noticed that a lot of the time, his E doesn’t even do damage, especially if the enemy is in the air. When it does hit, it only does 30 damage! I feel like he either needs to do more damage in his base form (I’d like to see his attack speed be a bit faster because it feels so sluggish among other buffs) and make his big form give him a larger hp pool instead of a shield. If they made his big form have a larger overall health pool instead of just giving you a shield, it would make strategists actually be able to heal you. The way it is now, once you lose the shield you have the same health pool as normal form, but with a massive hit box (and no abilities)
2:25 my streamer might be a little too humble also, the big mode plus storm damage amp is a crazy amount of unblockable dmg. if they don't have hulk the frontline looks kinda screwed

Okay, while yes his ult doesn't do a lot of damage it's got a secondary 10% slowing effect that stacks every time you hit an enemy, meaning you can get a 60% slow on multiple enemies. Now the ult is bad yes, HOWEVER if you use it in a coordinated manner you may be able to slow a few immobile targets which might set up multiple kills for your teammates. Now granted you need to stack it so for the duration the slow will be weaker, but if you've been hit by Namors ice turret you know how sluggish a 30% slow can feel. Now if there are any situations where this is even helpful is... questionable... but if the enemy team is trying to run away from you while you're grouped then maybe, MAYBE the ult can actually be the difference between them getting back in position in time or staying overextened for too long. Strategists like Luna, Mantis and Adam all lack movement abilites so they have to rely on good old walking to get anywhere. Considering the complete lack of meaningful damage on the ult I think it's probably better to just use it for the slow honestly. Even in big team fights getting a 60% slow on multiple enemies will certainly make them far more killable if the rest of the team capitalizes on it. Idk I'm just trying to find any use for that ultimate tbh.

Here's a suggestion to at least fix his ult, make it so there is no limit to the number of bounces he can do, but rather after x bounces he loses his CC immunity. Winter soldier AGANE is like a million times better and has no limit so I don't see why not. As for his base kit I think he struggles with a similar issue to Hulk where his transformation time kinda screws him over. what year is it, is he back to streaming since when??
man this game is fun
Just want to reskin mr fantastic to be Luffy.
People trna act like M.F. isn't good is crazy his ult is mid but it still kills and slows and he is easily has the most survivability in all of dps and is top 3 whole game
he is good, but only if you have your team actually playing well. if your team isn't tight you gonna int so hard
These hands Fantastic fn
dafran lmao
i feel like for how dookie he is in his regular form his buff form should kill with the three hit combo at least
hero is dog. undertuned and the meta counters it severely. with buffs and a new meta we'll see it shine someday.
2:35 why are you pretending like you didn’t give the whole entire comp community of overwatch ptsd from ur doom, ofc he knows who u are
You make a lot of things work but NO ONE can make Iron Fist work. No matter how powerful the noobs say he is he’ll never be like Mr. Fantastic unless they buff his parry recharge and give him an extra kick,
Not true many can make iron fist work including myself
Iron fist has a 54% winrate in grandmaster little brother this has skill issue written all over it
GG.
I gotcha 🤓
Fantastic! Haha.
You’re playing him too much like a main fighter. He’s a support. He’s better at supporting someone else & letting them shine than being the one trying to do the heavy lifting like a punisher.
This character is fun when you have a good team, if your team is dog sh well You can't carry a team with this character legit dog sh
Its Brigette
Mister fansmtasic is so bad, he is un buffable. I dont think theres a number you could raise to make him playable without making him instant ban. If you could control the big form as an ability instead of a resource maybe hed be playable. Idk its rough
I think he is not bad he is decent but he is so bad vs wolverine
Can you play a marvel rivals or even a overwatch doomfist game but “accidentally” make your face cam the whole video
I want to see you play monkey d luffy with a face cam on
Mr fantastic is broken. I wouldn't be surprised if there was an emergency nerf
too much wiggling needed with his gameplay, i dont like it
Dafran with the lob
