    Very nice van - and the gas free, induction hob option is a great improvement- much cleaner look. Great quality throughout - the only negative is that I’m not the one collecting the keys for it - but best wishes to the new owners. 👍

    Lovely job done, sleek and stylish, always looking to improve your work and ideas.Think the induction hob is a good idea, and adding rails to move seating is a game changer. Nice to see where you put the toilet, out of the way.
    Just asking though, any thoughts on fly screens for the warmer weather.
    Could it be possible to fit in the van.

    I think my ideal van would have both diesel heating and cooking

      All our campers have diesel heaters and either gas or induction hobs.

      As u have said, advantage to do away with gas. Gas, even autogas, can be an issue, eg Italy illegal to supply autogas for domestic use, Norway very hi usage there but very thin on the ground, fewer and fewer in UK too.

    Great vid and van. Is it a single “ring” induction hob?

    • @HighlifeCampersUK
      @HighlifeCampersUK  7 дней назад

      @@skelts19 thanks, yes it's one large ring, but we can fit two smaller rings side by side if preferred.

    Great van lucky owners I have a 2004 van love the idea of the electric hob , be good if there was a hob exactly same size as the traditional two ring gas hob so you could lift it out and connect the electric one in once again a great quality van and the interior what you have done to it ,I have had a Victron solar set up fitted and splitter been a game changer for me as we like to wild camp than camp sites .

      Thank Neil, it is a beauty and the induction hob is a nice improvement we think.

    Great van, so glad people are now looking at induction and not gas. I like these layouts, but wish the fridge could be lifted off the floor as I don’t want to grovel on the floor reaching into the fridge. Would that be possible?

      @@bicycleadventures2133 Hi, thanks for the feedback. Where would you suggest putting it? There are only so many options in the back of a SWB Transporter. We feel our layout and design maximises the space, and unfortunately we can't please everyone.

    • @bicycleadventures2133
      @bicycleadventures2133 7 дней назад

      @ yes, it is a problem, could it go under the sink move the porta potty to the fridge area, put the fridge as high off the floor as you can under the sink? maybe put it where the tambour door (except the seats are in the way😢) is and make the space where the fridge is into storage/drawers ? 🤷‍♀️ I just think that is the only downside for me in that layout, but I love the explorer package you do. I haven’t seen it in any other sim. Van conversions but there must be a solution somehow? Someone will find it….

      The fridge grovel, yep it's standard but it's because it's mostly the only choice in a short van.
      Rapido put our fridge so low we can't even have anything other than the thinnest carpet for cold weather.

    • @QB2ERS
      @QB2ERS 5 дней назад

      Black deadly hot in hot climates, plus mainstream converters don't botherceirh much if any insulation or sound deadening eg our Rapido PVC

      Looks the fridge could be 100mm or more off the floor in this conversion to make access better. Not everyone is 21!

    Loved the setup of the van with an electric induction one step forward. The van that is shown in the video would cost how much as I am planning to own one. Thanks
