I live in Japan past 20 years. I would guess those pockets, that you thought were for checks, are for receipts or point cards. Probably receipts. Nice wallet. I’m looking for one. Thanks for the video!
Great review, this has been my main wallet since 2016, it ages really well and has no signs of slowing down haha! Excited to see your leather evo, congrats on the great purchase.
@@Naurif hey there sorry for the late reply! Honestly, other than some natural creases and indigo stains on the wallet, it’s in great condition; the interior calf leather has aged well and developed a nice patina. I feel like it’s a bit too bulky to put the wallet in the front of your jeans but I do love that I can put pretty much anything I need in there.
Hi, nice video discussing the features of the Iron Heart Shell Cordovan Wallet. Do you mind sharing the cost of the wallet. Thanks. You seem as if you have a lot of knowledge regarding wallets and leather made goods. I just subscribed to your Channel and look forward to watching your upcoming videos. I’ve been purchasing my wallets from Ashland Leather and am quite pleased with the quality and customer service. How would you compare Ashland Leather to Iron Heart wallets? The wallet in this video seems fairly thick, as compared to Ashland’s Fat Herbie which is relatively thin. Any thoughts? Thanks...Ed
Sorry Ed, I didn't see the rest of your comment before. I would say that the Iron Heart wallets are just completely different from the Ashland wallets. They are far thicker than an Ashland wallet, and as such far less sleek. You could not get away with using one of these iron heart wallets if your work requires you to wear a suit. Regarding the attention to detail, I would have to say that the iron heart wallets are more intricate than the Ashland. There are more bells and whistles on what Iron Heart is putting out right now..... With that being said, both Ashland and Iron Heart make fantastic products. You really cannot go wrong with either. Not sure if that helps at all.
Thank you for this great review! If I can only have 1 forever wallet, would you advise i go with this Iron heart Cordovan wallet or the Flat head cordovan mid length wallet?
I'm ordering a shell Fat Herbie tomorrow. I was going to get a log wallet in Color #8 from them, but I think I just found my next wallet. But $850--ouch! From one Philly guy to another--thanks for the review.
You have some great contents here. Why not post your reviews on Reddit so you can grow this channel bigger. Also some editing will be great too. All the best
I sadly don't know much about editing video content. I just learned how to piece clips together... I was just doing everything in one edited long take at the beginning, off the cuff. Thanks for the suggestions though! And thank you for the kind words!

Great review. Best review I’ve found on an IH wallet, which are far and few between. Looking forward to checking out your other content. Subbed!

How is that wallet coming along? I'm thinking about getting one. Can you fit it in your front pants pocket as well?

@@PatrickJohnLu Thanks for sharing. You use any Sapphir Cordovan cream or do you just brush it? Again, thanks a lot.
@@Naurif honestly, I leave it alone and don’t treat it. It’s held up so far!! Haha
Thanks for the review. Looking forward to the Alden and Viberg reviews.
I'm going ot be putting out some content soon. I have a ton of boots to review. Thanks for the comment!
Hi Paul, wanted to let you know that I just uploaded an Alden Indy color 8 shell video.
Cool video, Mate! Interesting channel! Looking forward to more reviews.
I also contacted Iron Heart and they informed me that it is neither Shinki nor Tochigi Cordovan. What it is is still a mystery?!
How thick is it in everyday use? Is it too thick to be practical? Looks extremely beefy but damn I want one

Hi Ed,
The cost on this wallet is $850.00 through iron heart. But they can be had for 500-750 on the secondary markets. Thanks for the view!

I have both and the Flat Head is classier, very nicely finished, more luxurious. The Iron Heart, on the other hand, is more natural, rougher, RAW.
Looking forward to seeing a follow up on this wallet.

I know your hip hurts carrying that
That thing is a brick! It's a beautiful wallet, looks very well made, but way too thick of a wallet for me.
After it breaks in, it will be fine. Not for suits and ties but jeans. Get a card holder when you wear a suit
The wallet is too thick.
