About filing down the safety lever @ 6:31 -- a lot of people will have to do this, and not realize why at first. The magnet holder partially blocks the gearbox retention pin, so you'll pull the trigger to get that inserted, and your trigger will always be part-way pulled, like a trigger shim. But you have to make sure the safety lever still works as it should with the the trigger's new position, and that's why you have to file it down, or remove it. I didn't file mine enough, and the safety is stuck on until I open it up again to fix. This is a big headache, and a reason why I prefer the older Optical unit.
We don't plan on doing a separate video for ICS, but the installation process in your replica shouldn't be much different. It would actually be easier in an ICS thanks to the split gearbox.
It depends on where the magnet is located on the gear and how strong it is. It's very likely, that it won't interfere with working of Perun's trigger sensor, which is the one magnet-based. You can also try removing the magnet.

Hello, We're not really sure, to be honest. We know that V2 Hybrids are being routinely installed in CYMA AEG's, we're neither personally familiar nor have we received any feedback about gearboxes with QBS. We suppose that it should work, but we can't guarantee. Please be advised that in almost all CYMA gearboxes you need to grind down and extension around the contacts mounting screw.
Hello ,is it normal for the wire of this to warm up to touch??? I'm using 2.2mah 11.1v 30c battery only ,setup is 16:1 ,guarder sp150 ,Tienly 30k motor and is it ok to use a 2.2mah 11.1 120c battery in this mosfet?
Your wires are heating up because your motor is draining to much power, it's over stressed and the wires are too thin for that kind of power. Your motor is too fast for that kind of build, lacks torque. Try getting 18k motor if you don't mid lower ROF or get a brushless Warhead 30k (or 27k Base) motor. Even your battery is at the limit of it's power output, it might puff up over time. 2.2Ah (2200mAh) 30C = 64A output current. 30k motors are 16TPA, you might be abusing your battery by pulsing at 100A (probably around 60A on Semi) or even more. 30k is supposed to be used with up to M120 spring if you're using 18:1. Doesn't matter what the manufacturers says, it's 16TPA motor and it just drains way too much power with such a powerful spring. Guarder SP110 is around M120, they rate their springs with 0.25G bbs instead of 0.20. Since you're using SP150 my guess is that it's some kind of DMR and 18k motor would be much better for that anyway. You'd get a noticeable gain in semi response since it has much more torque.
Hello, I installed a Perun V2 Hybrid into my CYMA and when I do the diagnostics test everything seems to work except when I flip it to Semi it flashes blue then red. When I flip it to Auto it just continues to flash yellow with no response. Would you happen to know what's wrong?

Hi there, I'm planning to install the V2 hybrid in my Lancer Tactical gen2, but it doesn't have a cut-off lever since the LT G2 already has an ETU instead of a trigger switch. I'm wondering if that would be a problem since the screw on that ETU is smaller than what a cut-off lever has.
Hello, If the diameter of the screw's head will be too small to hold the board, you can try using a washer. Some of the gear washers used in AEG's could be good for that purpose.
Anyone know if this will work fine with the m249 featherweight? My first concern is with the trigger magnet, and second the fire selector plate does not move to my knowledge, but the stock electronic trigger unit looks like the same dimensions so fitment shouldnt be a problem.
If that replica doesn't have the ETU system inside, the trigger should fit. The lack of selector would be a problem, though. V2 Hybrid needs to "see" any movement of the selector after start-up, otherwise it will stay in safe mode.
@@mrgamingplatypus5833 This will not be enough. Each time you connect the battery, the unit has to see some movement on the selector plate. Otherwise it will stay on safe. Unless you are able to install a selector plate there and find a way to move it back and forth after every installation, it won't work. We would rather recommend Perun AB++ for this particular replica.
We haven't worked with that particular replica yet, nor have we received any feedback regarding installation of Perun V2 Hybrid in it. Therefore, we can't reliably advise whether and how would Perun Hybrid fit there. However, we made some quick research on the internet and it looks front wired version should work. Still - we can't guarantee that modification to the replica or wiring won't be necessary.
- Higher reliability of the replica, especially of the semi-auto mode. - Precocking, which allows you to greatly improve the trigger reaction time. - Spring drop to easily and quickly release the spring after using precocking. - Battery protection. - You can freely and independently change the firing modes (set burst or semi instead of auto, etc.). - Binary trigger. Those are few examples, there can be many more advantages depending on what your needs are. You can learn more about this mosfet here: perunairsoft.pl/products/v2-hybrid/ For more details about particular modes, you can watch this video: ruclips.net/video/2o4eWEYyw7c/видео.html
@@perunairsoft4811 Ok, thanks for the quick response. I'll be sure to pick one up right away. Btw, I need to level a screw hole for a cyma gearbox right?
Do you mean that small piece that normally prevents the contacts from falling back and onto the sector gear? You can do without it, the middle pin will take over its function. You will just need to remember to hold the trigger while inserting the pin.
KWA replicas (except for the old 2GX ones) are tricky. There are many Hybrids installed in them and they work mostly fine, but sometimes it takes a lot of headache to make them work that way. The problem are the small excursions away from the standard that KWA makes. KWA 2.5 gearbox was optimized to work with Gate Titan, but it’s still not a 100% Tokyo Marui compatible gearbox and often need for modification arises. The short answer is - yes, but if you have a lot of experience with teching, have a dremel around and can put some time into making it work.
We had some feedback about the Hybrid being successfully installed in an LCT G3. We're not sure about G3's made by JG. We suppose that they also shouldn't need any modification, but we can't guarantee that.
We can't guarantee, but according to our quick research it should fit there without much problems. Please be advised, that this is based only on checking information on the internet. We do not have first-hand information, nor we think we have had any feedback regarding the gen 3 Lancer.
No, unfortunately not. We recommend trying 100:300 gears instead. If you're using any high torque motor, 100:300 or even 100:200 should be enough to pull pretty much any spring. Unless you want to use 32:1 for a different reason. BTW, V2 Hybrid does not work with 32:1 gears, but V3 Hybrid does.
It's hard to say. It depends what is your motor rating, but it will most likely work. Make sure your battery has high current efficiency when using a high speed motor (high "C" and capacity).
@@perunairsoft4811 Tornado F2 High Speed gen.2 this is the motor and battery is 11v and about 900mah. tbh I'm going to use it on single or burst mode 95%

No, unless you are installing it in a G&G replica, where in some cases it might be necessary to cut the battery connector off, channel the wires through channel in the buffer tube base and solder it back again. Other than that, there is usually no need for any soldering at all.
Yes, but be advised that might need to grind down a small piece of metal in the gearbox to be able to put Perun in place (and not only Perun, that would be true for every drop-in unit on the market).
Hybrids generally fit nicely into Cyma replicas, but please keep in mind that you will almost always need to grind down the knob around the contacts fastening screw. A dremel or similar tool will certainly be helpful, if not inevitable to do the job properly and in reasonable time.

Yes, but there are two small caveats: - with 19-teeth gears and if the build is rather slow, if you don't want to use precocking, it's recommended to actually set precocking to level 1 or 2 to ensure proper gearbox cycling. In all other cases the Hybrid can be used similarly to any other replicas, - you'd need to grind down a small, protruding part of the gearbox shell, which normally holds the contacts; it's something that has be done to accomodate almost all drop-in mosfets.

We're not really sure, to be honest.
@@perunairsoft4811 Thank you very much for the response.
Hello ,is it normal for the wire of this to warm up to touch??? I'm using 2.2mah 11.1v 30c battery only ,setup is 16:1 ,guarder sp150 ,Tienly 30k motor
and is it ok to use a 2.2mah 11.1 120c battery in this mosfet?
With such a configuration - definitely yes, the wires can get warm and that's acceptable.
Please check, whether the selector sticker doesn't need adjustment according to the graphic in the middle of page 5. in the manual for V2 Hybrid: www.perunairsoft.pl/hybridv2.pdf
If that won't help, please contact our tech support at info@perunairsoft.pl
Would this work in a G&g cm16 raider, the older generation without an etu. Does it meet the requirements to install it?
We can't guarantee, but it should. G&G replicas without ETU are pretty close to Tokyo Marui standard.
Hi there,
I'm planning to install the V2 hybrid in my Lancer Tactical gen2, but it doesn't have a cut-off lever since the LT G2 already has an ETU instead of a trigger switch. I'm wondering if that would be a problem since the screw on that ETU is smaller than what a cut-off lever has.
Hello,
If the diameter of the screw's head will be too small to hold the board, you can try using a washer. Some of the gear washers used in AEG's could be good for that purpose.
Thanks! Good thing I bought some shims awhile ago. Can't wait to have it installed.
Will the trigger magnet work for a Maxx trigger
Yes, we have tested the magnet holder ourselves with one of the Maxx triggers and it fits just fine.
@@perunairsoft4811 I will try programmining it in an m4 lower then move it to the m249 body
I plan on getting this for my vfc mcx, how would I go about running the wires?
We haven't worked with that particular replica yet, nor have we received any feedback regarding installation of Perun V2 Hybrid in it. Therefore, we can't reliably advise whether and how would Perun Hybrid fit there. However, we made some quick research on the internet and it looks front wired version should work. Still - we can't guarantee that modification to the replica or wiring won't be necessary.
What is the advantage if you this perun mosfet
- Higher reliability of the replica, especially of the semi-auto mode.
- Precocking, which allows you to greatly improve the trigger reaction time.
- Spring drop to easily and quickly release the spring after using precocking.
- Battery protection.
- You can freely and independently change the firing modes (set burst or semi instead of auto, etc.).
- Binary trigger.
Those are few examples, there can be many more advantages depending on what your needs are. You can learn more about this mosfet here: perunairsoft.pl/products/v2-hybrid/
For more details about particular modes, you can watch this video: ruclips.net/video/2o4eWEYyw7c/видео.html
Hi. What solution do you use to clean the selector plate and contact points?
It would be best to use alcohol, either standard ethanol or isopropyl alcohol (IPA).
@@perunairsoft4811 Ok, thanks for the quick response. I'll be sure to pick one up right away. Btw, I need to level a screw hole for a cyma gearbox right?
i just got one! perun u guys rock!!!!!!!
So I can not use this in a gearbox that has a broken trigger bar? I have a shell that the bar broke that holds the trigger contacts. bummer....
Do you mean that small piece that normally prevents the contacts from falling back and onto the sector gear? You can do without it, the middle pin will take over its function. You will just need to remember to hold the trigger while inserting the pin.
@@perunairsoft4811 Okay, thanks.
Will this fit a kwa tk45c with a v2.5 gearbox
KWA replicas (except for the old 2GX ones) are tricky. There are many Hybrids installed in them and they work mostly fine, but sometimes it takes a lot of headache to make them work that way. The problem are the small excursions away from the standard that KWA makes. KWA 2.5 gearbox was optimized to work with Gate Titan, but it’s still not a 100% Tokyo Marui compatible gearbox and often need for modification arises. The short answer is - yes, but if you have a lot of experience with teching, have a dremel around and can put some time into making it work.
Does the Perun Hybrid still have the Easter Egg like the old one?
Will the magnet holder work for a G3 t3 trigger, or will I have to modify the trigger to fit the magnet holder?
We had some feedback about the Hybrid being successfully installed in an LCT G3. We're not sure about G3's made by JG. We suppose that they also shouldn't need any modification, but we can't guarantee that.
@@perunairsoft4811 also can your Ab++ be fitted onto a version 2 gearbox, or can that only be fitted onto a version 3
@@Gumball935 Perun AB++ will work any airsoft gearbox.
Just got into airsoft and purchased one. Will this fit easily into a lancer tactical gen 3 with minor mods?
We can't guarantee, but according to our quick research it should fit there without much problems. Please be advised, that this is based only on checking information on the internet. We do not have first-hand information, nor we think we have had any feedback regarding the gen 3 Lancer.
i have a question, can i use 32:1 gears with this mosfet?
No, unfortunately not. We recommend trying 100:300 gears instead. If you're using any high torque motor, 100:300 or even 100:200 should be enough to pull pretty much any spring. Unless you want to use 32:1 for a different reason.
BTW, V2 Hybrid does not work with 32:1 gears, but V3 Hybrid does.
After this video i already order this kit :) I have Hight rpm motor, and for now 18:1 gears and 100m spring. Should i change it for this kit or nope ?
It's hard to say. It depends what is your motor rating, but it will most likely work. Make sure your battery has high current efficiency when using a high speed motor (high "C" and capacity).
@@perunairsoft4811 Tornado F2 High Speed gen.2 this is the motor and battery is 11v and about 900mah. tbh I'm going to use it on single or burst mode 95%
@@patrykkeska6696 Electronic fuse should not kick in due to overcurrent, which normally is the main reason high speed builds like that don't work. However, this 900 mAh battery doesn't stand a chance. It will quickly overheat and will long-term wear out very fast. A 3000 mAh battery with 20 C current efficiency is a minimum for such build, or at least a 2000 mAh 30 C package.
@@perunairsoft4811 OK thanks a lot :) so I'm going to grab one of those big batteries
Yoo perun, love ur mosfet for sure, just tried it on my friend's replica, so i want to ask, does it fit with lonex new versjon gearbox? Thx
Thank you for the kind words :) We're not sure what you mean by the new version of the gearbox. We did test the Hybrid with the quite old Ultimate (Lonex) gearbox we have around, but if a new version came out, we can't promise there won't be need for a modification.

Is it safe to use this with brushless motor?
Yes, but keep the "RoF reduction" feature off at all times, when using a BLDC motor.
Can I use the 11.1v 40c battery?
It depends on what is the capacity of the battery (measured in mAh) and the build - motor used, gear type and ratio and spring rating.
By the way, we recommend watching this video, it refers to the topic: ruclips.net/video/5hO25aPvHcU/видео.html

@@Kimharim_04 We won't be able to advise unless you provide us the information about the battery capacity (mAh), motor model, gear type and ratio, as well as spring rating :)
@@perunairsoft4811 1100mAh, m80 spring, motor 30000rpm, vfc steel gear set.
@@Kimharim_04 It sounds like the battery should be enough for such build. If there are problems running it, please contact our tech support at info@perunairsoft.pl for more extensive help.
does this require any soldering?
No, unless you are installing it in a G&G replica, where in some cases it might be necessary to cut the battery connector off, channel the wires through channel in the buffer tube base and solder it back again. Other than that, there is usually no need for any soldering at all.
First ! Great Mosfet :)
Will this work with cyma mp5?
Yes, but be advised that might need to grind down a small piece of metal in the gearbox to be able to put Perun in place (and not only Perun, that would be true for every drop-in unit on the market).
Thank you for this awesome walkthrough of installation, I plan on ordering the v2 rear wired model, will that fit in a CYMA Platinum QBS 14.5' gun?
Hybrids generally fit nicely into Cyma replicas, but please keep in mind that you will almost always need to grind down the knob around the contacts fastening screw. A dremel or similar tool will certainly be helpful, if not inevitable to do the job properly and in reasonable time.
@@perunairsoft4811 Thanks so much for the reply! I'm ordering my mosfet right now :)
Awesome video but testing procedure for me isn't working. Would be even better if you showed possible things to check to get it to work. It sees safe & full auto. Tried everything your garbage manual says & still NOTHING

You spelt sure wrong. But I'll let you off as your products are so awesome.
Would this work in a version 2.5 gearbox ? I have a cm098a
Yes, but there are two small caveats:
- with 19-teeth gears and if the build is rather slow, if you don't want to use precocking, it's recommended to actually set precocking to level 1 or 2 to ensure proper gearbox cycling. In all other cases the Hybrid can be used similarly to any other replicas,
- you'd need to grind down a small, protruding part of the gearbox shell, which normally holds the contacts; it's something that has be done to accomodate almost all drop-in mosfets.
@@perunairsoft4811 okay o think i know what part you mean. I have actually installed a 13:1 gearset so i think it Will be fast. Just need the Perun for better cycle of the gears as the cut of lever cant keep up. And also of the cool feuteures ahah

It's a standard V2 gearbox, so V2 Hybrid should work there just fine and without any modification. Unfortunately, we can't promise that there won't any surprising features there, which would require some additional work.
@@perunairsoft4811 ok thanks and this video was very easy to understand
Will this work with a double bell scar h?
We don't have first hand experience nor feedback about compatibility with this particular replica, neither good nor bad. It's a V2 and it should work, but sometimes SCARs have their quirks. We would bet it should be ok, but we can't guarantee anything.
