Hi! One question; what happens when switch you between locomotives set previously at different speeds? Does the Multimaus remember at what speed you left it or is it the knob position that always dictates the selected locomotive speed?

Sorry I don’t know the answer. I would expect it to go to what the controller is currently set to not what it was.

Yes it's remember so if you have 2 locos and you set the speed on one e.g.:br80 and then you switch to e.g.:br20 then the br80 will go the same speed you've adjusted

You have made a mistake describing the Multimaus controls. You said the 28/128 referred to functions. They are actually where you can set the speed steps to either 28 or 128 steps. I always use 128 because it gives you much greater slow speed control. It also looks as though you have not set the handset to English language as it appears to be still in German

The red Roco Multimouse or the grey Fleischmann Multimouse which workinv together with the 10764 Roco Command Box and joined together as Master Multimouse are together the command Base of this easy Digital DCC Systen but never remove the Master Multimouse during operation from the Command base.
When using Boosters of more 10764 Command Bases than put in the Multimouse as Slave.
Me I am using this System, too.
I use a red Roco Multimouse as Master Multimouse together with the 10764 Command Base into what I programmed the Decoder Addresses and Loco Adrresses into Loco Library, than I put the Master red Multimouse undrr my Layout and using some grey Fleischmann Multimice (multiple Moäultimouse Throttles) as Slaves for driving my Locos and trains.
By programming onto programming track, think on, that a Decoder read out is not existing, so do as first step of programming any decoder to switch it back to factory decoder programming of first delivery mode, using CV 8 to set 8 to switch back the decoder onto factory programming.
Than do set the programming of the CVs you will change and please do notice all steps you will have done, so that it gives not any trouble.
If you will change you digital system in the future to the z21 Start, it has the decoder reading funktion as addition but the 10764 command boxes can be used as Boosters in addition and the before Master Multimouse can be used for driviing trains, too.
For easy experiences with you first digital system the 10764 Command Box is well Ok, it can be used later as possiblee Boosters when upgrading to any white z21 or the big black Z21 Command Box System.
