@@replicasurfaces for sure the Lightroom App and how to use it - I didn’t know that existed (I haven’t used my PC version in quite a few years and so I haven’t been staying on top of their technology.)
These tips are great for all skill levels of photography. I like that you went into detail about the settings for the camera settings and in the LR moble app!
I'm so glad you liked that and took notice, Yenrue!! Thank you for watching! We'll break all those functions down and why each setting is important in more detail in a few videos coming soon!! 🙌
Great tips! I wasn't familiar with the grey card and that's awesome! This is definitely a rewatch video with the settings of Lightroom. My favorite is turning the phone upside down. I learned it in the VIP group and it has made SUCH a difference. Now heading off to clean my lens!!
I exclusively shoot photos on my iphone and am always looking for tips and tricks to help make my photos more "professional" looking. Thanks for your help!
Love to hear it, Beth!! I'm so glad you got a chance to watch this one especially since you shoot exclusively on your phone!! 🥰 Which tip was your favorite from this video??
So excited! I've finally got (kinda) unpacked in our new house so now I can actually put these tips into action!!!! I realized yesterday my dslr battery charger is still unable to be located so I've had to pause website photography and focus on pictures with my iPhone so this is very much needed!
Cheers to being (kinda) unpacked!! 🙌 I hope you find your DSLR battery charger soon, but at least you'll have these tips to help with the phone photos! It'll turn up! I'm putting it out in the universe for you! ✨
Thank you for the great phone photo tips, it's so much faster and less intimidating to be able to use a phone camera sometimes. I especially liked the portrait mode tip, I wasn't aware of the F option to vary the amount of blur in the background (like the F stop on a camera) & all the tips about using the light room in app camera! Flipping the phone upside down so the camera points directly at the subject is so simple and seems obvious, but it's not!
Thank you Vanessa! A phone camera is definitely much easier to navigate! Portrait mode and F option are extremely helpful with photos on a phone. Flipping the phone upside down can seem obvious but your right, it's a hidden trick :)
So many great tips! I took tons of notes. I didn't know about portrait mode. I will definitely try that. That was my favorite tip but there were so many great ones!
Thanks for watching, Rebecca! The phone flip trick blew my mind the first time I heard about it and then I tried it!! 🤯 Absolute game changer! Let us know if you give it a try! 🥰
Wow! Love these tips. Especially that last one. I’ve never thought of doing that or have ever heard anyone suggest this. I’m definitely going to try it.
Thank you so much for watching this one, Chris!! That's a solid camera you have on that model! I hope you get a chance to make good use of a few of these tips with it! 📱😍✨
Hi Abi, I'm so glad our videos are helping you! I personally do not have the IPhoneX but I did a bit of research and this may be able to help: After you've updated your iPhone to iOS 12.1, you'll see an option to adjust the f-stop before you take the photo. ... Open the Camera app, select Portrait, then tap on the f button. A slider will show up next to the shutter button, for you adjust the f-stop, and see the changes as you move it. I hope this helps! Thank you!!
YES!!! That is awesome! We wanted something that could be helpful for allll phone users, regardless of manufacturer! Thank you so much for watching, Jen! 💖✨
OMG!!!!! Thank you so much for this. I only use a phone when it comes to food photography so this helps 1000%!!! Thank you soooooo much!!! And it's applicable to other phone models...yay!!! Thanks Mandy:)
Thanks for letting us share your awesome example showing the difference in natural light as the sun moves throughout the day!! YOU are priceless, Noell! 🥰💖 Thanks for showing the love!
such great tips as always Mandy! I definitely will need to turn my camera upside next time to take those photos! Keep these phone photography videos coming!!
Thank you for these valuable tips! I’m not sure if you’ve posted about tips on taking essential oil bottles but would love some tips on those. I have some dried flower petals I would like to use in pictures with my oil bottles but I can’t seem to get it to look right. I will check your IG page to see if there’s any oil bottle pictures 😃.

What are some artificial lighting that you prefer or brands that you like? There are so many choices and I'm not Sur how to navigate? A video offering $-$$$ choices would be great!
Hi Katie! Thanks for asking! This video is helpful for a budget friendly option: ruclips.net/video/YvMDKKT4N0A/видео.html. If you want to take it a step further, I would recommend the Godox SL60W light with a softbox because it has a fairly low price point for an LED light, is continuous so it can be used for video, and provides tons of light overall for a small light. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Great tips! I love them, and I’ll start using the app when I photograph with my phone. I still prefer a DSLR, but phones are so much more practical and lighter.
Same! I definitely love my DSLR and usually choose that over my phone, but the quality of some of these new phones continues to impress me! Practicality and overall weight wins me over sometimes! 😂

Hi, this is very helpful. Can you clarify about Lightroom? I just looked in the app store and there are a lot of Lightroom apps, the one at the top with a blue LR is I think the real one, but what are the presets for? Do I have to get those too for food photography?
I use an IPhone 13 Pro Max. When I open in the Lightroom mobile app there isn’t a “camera” at the bottom? Could someone please help me? Thank you in advance!
This is incredibly helpful! I'm wondering if there is an easy way to get photos from my phone to my desktop for editing. I haven't been able to find an easy way. When I plug my phone into my computer, the photos are too hard to navigate. I'm wondering if there is an easier way! Thank you so much for this awesome video.
