This is such a great and professional video overall and great advice. The one experience I’ll share is that as someone who has thin, straight hair but that does NOT get oily quickly, texture powder tends to be too dry and gritty for me and ends up clumping hair strands together which then separates them and exposes more scalp, which is not good. I think you have to have a certain level of hair thickness to use texture powder, and if you’re too thin, then it actually makes it look worse. My thin, straight hair seems to like light spray products more…even just a little bit of sea salt spray makes it look decent…just not too much or it’ll look too thin.
I wish based bodyworks had like a warehouse or something in Australia because you can get it delivered but it costs so much and i really want the products
@@ninjanugget11 I understand the currency system 6k rupees is around $71, and I also know that $71 in India has a different value compared to $71 in the USA. The issue is that Based Bodyworks doesn't manufacture here, so we have to pay import costs on top of the product price. For example, a shampoo bundle that costs $60 in the USA ends up costing $71 in India due to these added expenses. Currency conversion can definitely make prices feel steep in some countries, but there's no need to assume someone's age or intentions based on their comment. You only mention thick or thin hair, but what if my hair is medium thickness-neither thick nor fine-and it's straight but has a slight waviness? What products should I get??
For wavy hair what should I use? I want to make my hair a bit more wavy even a bit curly but I dont think just the leave in conditioner going to cut it.
I have fine straight hair too and im getting the clay and sea salt spray. Ive already had a different type of texture powder and it was ok for a week but my friend said my brand damages hair a lot, and i use a cheap sea salt spray, but i have a pomade type product and i love it. You should be fine
What if have fine straight hair but i want a hairstyle that flows back etc i dont think texture powder would be a great choice...what hair product do i use then?
@@k0tex_ mine is wavy too, you don't need to use texture powder or salt spray if your hair is wavy, you can wash your hair everyday but only use shampoo 2 or 3 times a week. find a routine that works for you. make sure you use a sulfate and paraben free shampoo and conditioner. you can also apply rosemary oil to your hair to add more texture, silkiness and overall volume.

This is kind of a yap sesh, but what product works best for thick/fine hair? I (think) that’s what my hair is, and wanted to know if texture powder or clay would work better. I ordered the clay and still have some texture powder left over so I can try them both. Also I wanted to know if texture powder can bring out natural waves/curls, I’m saying this cause whenever I use the texture powder my hair tends to want to flow to the side in kind of waves, but that could just be due to my natural middle part. My mom has slightly wavy hair naturally so I wouldn’t be surprised. Sorry if this is a dumb question but just wanted to know.
for wavy hair texture powder wouldn't work best, just use the clay or poamde depending on how much hold you want and whether you want a shiny or matte hairstyle
@@docto12372 I don’t think I have wavy hair though, unless I do and I just don’t know. It’s just whenever I use the texture powder my hair in the front tends to flick in waves to the side,
If you wanted to cover all bases, you could put out hair routine video for each hair type/style, for example your routine and how many products vs someone with straight hair vs someone with thick wavy who might want a messy fringe etc 💪🏽
