    Fun fact: The elevators are made by Otis.

      It actually does seem like a lot of Disney’s elevators are made by Otis

    I don’t know why, but I like it looking at the elevator fall from outside

    The elevator in the attraction is not just a normal elevator, it’s a semi autonomous vehicle that follows wire signals into elevator shafts it can lock itself into.

    I remember riding these back Mid-Winter Break 2010, while it was fun, I got dizzy from the ride.
    My Wait Time was about 90min-2h, since our Fast Pass Tickets didn't work for this ride.
    Did you have Fast Pass or How Long was the Wait?

    It's my favorite ride. And they used Dover to help make it possible with all of the elevators/motors. If you didn't know, when you were dropping, you were in the other elevator shaft, not the one shown at the beginning of the video. Great POV :)

      actually it was otis that helped with the ride system

    That's one crazy elevator! I wonder if it was manufactured by an actual elevator company.

    • @ElevationStationProductions
      @ElevationStationProductions 9 лет назад +2

      QuarioQuario54321 My question is why OTIS would even agree to take part in manufacturing that!

    • @ElevatingDenver
      @ElevatingDenver 9 лет назад +2

      QuarioQuario54321 That's interesting, a speed of 2700 FPM is insane. That would make it the fastest elevator in a low-rise shaft. The fastest low-rise elevator I've ever heard of is in a hospital in Denver and it travels 2000 FPM. It goes from the ground to the 10th floor in 2-3 seconds.
