The interviewer asks her to talk about each of her castmates, and that was what she shared about Lauren - how calm, generous, and supportive she was about the Sharing Shack scenes we see in eps 8 and 9.

Melanie and Kate were phenomenal in it, I recommend looking up the real story . It's almost exactly the same as the movie. He did well showing what happened and how Pauline was actually a victim of the men her mother allowed into the bed and breakfast.
It's impressive but most British and Aussie/Kiwi actors can pull off a "standard" mid-west American accent. What would be mindblowing is a British/Aussie person pulling off some of the most esoteric American accents such as Chicago South Side, Maine, Deep South Georgia, etc.

It's sad how some fans wanted to whitewash Lottie for the adult version simply because the adult actress that fans wanted are mostly famous people but simply forgot that Courtney is not fully a white person, glad that Simone was cast instead

Everyone praises the teenage cast, but I just LOVE the adult one as well. I literally grow up watching them and I love the addition of Lauren to the cast. Loved her since Six Feet Under. Loved her on Servant and now she joined one of the best tv shows airing right now ❤

My fan theory is that they were never rescued. There are two different story telling tones between the past and present. Both contain the dark suspense element, but the present is also goofy like a 90s slasher at times. It's almost like the present is told by an unreliable narrator.
