That was amazing Fr Dave! I am visiting Las Vegas and will be going to Mass shortly. They actually have a church on the strip called Cathedral of the Guardian Angel. They received a dispensation to say Mass at 2:30pm so the casino workers can got to Mass before their shift. It’s a beautiful church and a nice escape from all the noise and craziness here.. I will say a prayer there for your safe return. Thanks again for the tour of a place I may never get to 😊

The few times I have been to Juneau we have always visited St Therese Shrine! It is magnificently stunning!! The entire area around Auke Bay and Fritz Cove is so beautiful! Thank you so much for your message and sharing Alaska with us one rock at a time!❤

I totally agree with you, Father Dave, cluster bombs are indiscriminate weaponry, n should not even exist in my opinion!!! If people spent more time trying to be peacemakers instead of inventing more atrocities in the weaponry world, it would benefit not inly the earth itself, but also mankind!!! Just came back from two Shrines in Michigan from my vacation with my sisters n they were fabulous!!! Stopped at Indian River Shrine in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan about a half hour from Mackinaw City, n walked n prayed the Stations of the Cross in the beautiful woods n prayed n lit candles in the various smaller shrines n went directly up to Lord Jesus on the Cross n hadn't been there since I was a kid in 1972 or so,!!! It was a wonderful experience!!! Also, at my youngest sisters house 🏡 in the Upper Peninsula, went to Mass at St. Anne's Church in L'Anse with Father Corey n went to the Bishop Baraga Shrine of the Snow Shoe Priest again, n took many pics of both places which I will forward one of each to you when I figure out how on my phone 🤳, n bought quite a few beautiful Blessed souvenirs to pass out to my friends upon my return. Thank you for making the Shrine of St. Therese in Alaska my 3rd Shrine tour this month of August, 2023!!!! It is my new record!!! Bless you ever so, Father Dave!!!!

You have given a lot of us the desire to learn more and feel the closeness to God. I am currently reading The pamphlet This Is My Body, by Bishop Barron and what he says is what I see in your Mass. I'm going to research The Little Flower. I know, however, it's going to be hard for me to be that loving towards everything. That's why God is letting me learn more now. I couldn't have children. But God gave me the role of rescuing many dogs and I thought about becoming a Nun years ago, but my unconditional love for my 4-leggers was and still is more important. Why am I posting all of this. Don't know. Again, thanks.

@FatherDave I read about her and plan to get book on her life but after doing my Rosary and Divine Mercy, I found a prayer to pray to her. It brought me that little girl excitement of life for a second. That second was worth more than gold. Enjoy Alaska. My sister is there and sent me incredible pictures. May God Bless you. Im thinking, motorhome and traveling nomad life for me with my dog. Just a thought.
