Gaiac 10 is only available in September. London UK 15ml £92.00. Just went to purchase the dossier version. Put all my details and it doesn’t deliver to `UK. Very sad

When you smell there 58 dollar fragrance and then you smell there 300 dollar fragrance what strikes you about the two different prices and the quality of each fragrance? Nice Review Steven! Todays fragrance of the day for me is Tom Fords Noir De Noir!

LE LABO GAIAC 10 on my skin its musky and animalistic, I very much enjoying it during colder months. But the price for city exclusive its pretty much lil pricy.

I haven't smelled the original Bal d'afrique, but I love Dossier's version. It's a dumb reach for me. When my bottle is done, I'll probably invest in the real thing .

Dua Brand also has a Gaiac dupe... Theur 540 extrait dupe is so precise, I can't tell the difference in a blind trst with 2 different test strips.
I have both the DUA and the Dossier versions. Both are almost indentical. I prefer Dossier, because I don't like the oily quality that many DUAs have.

Do you notice that “ bacon/bbq” note that a lot of people note in the original gaiac 10? It’s my least favorite part of gaiac 10 :/ but love the fragrance otherwise

I got a sample of Gaiac 10 yesterday. Because of the reviews I really wanted to try it and but a bottle in September . Well that’s not gonna happen. It is a mix of Tide and Persil!
You didn't like it? After getting a sample I bought a decant on ebay, but its from a different batch so its a bit more cedar forward than Id prefer.
You just need to wait a few months to let your bottle mature. The bottles are freshly mixed when bought direct from Le Labo whereas the samples are already matured

I have dossiers santal 33, a few people have already thought it was the actual le labo fragrance (they came up to ME) I have never smelled the original but its wonderful and based on the comments im sure its smells close to the original.

I have a Dua dupe of 540 extrait and also own the real thing... Was going to do a smell test but got the test strips mixed uo before I could label them and honestly can't tell which is which!

I understand not everyone can afford a $485 fragrance but I just can’t support dupe companies. Support art, support perfumery.
I agree to an extent but when it feels like fragrance companies jack up prices for no reason, i prefer to support a dupe brand over the original.. im sure a lot of people would disagree w me but i particularly feel this way about le labo, outside of another 13 i wouldnt consider anything they do artistically compelling, just some nice scents that are overpriced...
