Is great to see this in depth review of an alternative to a way more expensive fragrance because not everyone can afford it but surely many people wants to experience it ,thanks Steven great review as usual now I need to revisit the inspiration behind black orchid 😂
Just get the real thing. Get the dossier too but I find even tho like its super super close the tf last a lot longer. I have the oud wood and aventus clones, the oud wood is surprisingly close. 97% and honestly and maybe more interesting in the first hour-two. The oud wood lasts longer on me. The aventus is like 90%+ similar. I think there's is that pineapple in my aventus batch I dont get in the first 15 mins on me. After the first 15 mins, theyre neck n neck till hour 3 when the dossier kinda dies out compared to the real thing. But im not gonna lie, if I over spray the dossier (musky oakmoss) it competes w the aventus after the first 15 mins like 95% as well. And since its like 1/3-1/4 the cost, dep on what u can justify, the dossier might be the move.
Steven have you tried Authenticity perfumes? It's an indie/ niche house and I have seen few reviews about it here on RUclips but honestly they sounded like a promotional reviews thus I wanted to ask you to check their perfumes out and give us an honest review so I can decide whether or not I should buy! They are pretty cheap the house is out of Virginia I believe so and the perfumes are best mode and with 50% concentration of oil!
Ok i was scared to get this I wanted Tom Ford Cherry but saw Videos here that said it smells like Dollar tree cherry cheap smell and it put me off. So I might get this
I appreciate what dossier is doing, but they are never as good as the originals in my opinion- which is unfortunate lol. I’ve bought so many of their scents and they aren’t BAD but they certainly aren’t the same. I feel like if I smelled dossiers version of black orchid before smelling the original I would be less captivated. I’m obsessed with tf black orchid. Its so rich and spicy and deep and interesting. I feel like dossier is like a more boring, less exciting version. Very similar yes, but not the same.
As lover of Black Orchid, I'd definitely be interested in trying a smoother version!
