I use to own an S3 8L, I recommend you remove both lower door blades… replace the screws as they rust and cause bottom of the doors to bubble and corrode. There is also an Audi main dealer recall on the 1.8t coil packs. Call your local dealer with the VIN. They will test and change accordingly. When I had mine it was on X REG they replaced one coil and gave the car a full valet. Also check the roof rails they are push fit… (careful they are easily bent) they fill with dirt and cause the roof to corrode. If you remove the cup holder and wash it in warm water they only get sticky as someone has spilled fizzy drink over it some point in the past.

Hi Justin, if I remember rightly, we sourced the wing on eBay. Have you tried ringing local vehicle dismantlers? I guess you probably have, also I realise MK1 S3s probably rarely turn up at vehicle dismantlers. Failing that, I'd say just keep looking on the various sites.. Facebook marketplace, eBay, gumtree etc. until a wing comes up 👍
Thanks for your response buddy I just have to be patient I guess and hope for the best your definitely right they don't come at breakers places or anywhere for that matter its just heart breaking as I want to be bk behind the wheel of it .its exactly the same as yours same silver and it looked superb in the summer till drunk driver hit and left it on a carpark in town .thanks again buddy 👍 carnt wait to see yours back from the garage all finished 😀

ticking sound is likely the evap canister , its normal to do that, however, you can delete the whole thing altogether
